Overall, the curriculum is good, but in some cases, it may lead to drawbacks in functional programs.
Placements: My experience with the college placement process has been both enriching and transformative. The placement cell of our college has played a crucial role in preparing us for the professional world by providing consistent guidance, resources, and opportunities. From the very beginning, the placement team ensures that students are well-informed about upcoming drives, company requirements, and eligibility criteria. One of the best aspects of the process is the pre-placement training sessions. These sessions focus on communication skills, aptitude tests, group discussions, and mock interviews. They not only help in boosting confidence but also make us more industry-ready.
Infrastructure: The college offers excellent infrastructure, with well-equipped classrooms, modern labs, a resourceful library, and clean hostels. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, spacious, and provides a great environment for learning and growth, and it is all good.
Faculty: The behavior of all the faculty members is quite good. The college has highly qualified and supportive faculty who make learning interactive and practical. The curriculum is well-structured, industry-oriented, and regularly updated, ensuring students are career-ready with strong fundamentals.
Other: Currently, I am not willing to provide any other details, but it is a good college according to my preference.

College is excellent.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed from this course. The highest package is about 4 LPA. There are many IT companies here offering job opportunities. 50% of students got internships from our college in different IT companies. Roles offered are data scientist and web developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in this college. Canteen food is also okay but it is good according to price. The food is served of many varieties in the canteen and it is also delicious.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are very hard-working and passionate about their work. Teachers are very helpful and they always give their 100% for us. They always prepare us according to the companies or industry. Our university is RGPV and semester exams are hard but if you still prepare for it then you can archive marks as you want.

My personal experience and review as a student of this college.
Placements: In the CSE branch, the placement rate is 10.4%, in the IT branch, it is 14.29%, in the ECE branch, it is 2.78%, in the EEE branch, it is 6.66%, and in the ME branch, it is 2.44%. The highest package in 2025 is 5.5 LPA, the lowest is 2.7 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The placement percentage for engineering courses is around 30-40% annually.
Infrastructure: Facilities include a modern lab, a library, an auditorium, a cafeteria, and a sports area. There is no hostel or Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are basic, similar to primary schools, without smart board facilities. The library is well-equipped with over 50,000 books and digital resources.
Faculty: The college has over 100 faculty members, many of whom have industry experience. The curriculum is updated as per AICTE and RGPV guidelines, focusing on both theoretical and practical learning. Exams include mid-term and final exams, with university-level exams conducted by RGPV.
Other: The college is located 20 km from Indore city center and has good transport facilities. It provides a bus service for students from different parts of Indore.

My college life in this college is memorable.
Placements: Placement drives provide direct access to companies, saving time and effort compared to applying externally. Companies from various sectors participate, offering roles in software development, data analysis, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and more. Recruiters often focus on technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and aptitude, which you can prepare for in advance.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi connectivity and multiple laboratories. However, some students have noted that the internet speed is slow, and lab equipment could be better maintained. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and the library houses a substantial collection of books. Yet, certain reviews mention that classrooms can be untidy, and the library's environment could be improved.
Faculty: Examinations are under the guidelines of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. The examination structure includes sessional exams and end-semester exams. Sessional exams are typically held twice before the semester exams, with some students describing the difficulty level as moderate.
Other: SVCE encourages overall student development through various clubs and activities, including NSS, NCC, Literary Society, and Technical Society. Regular debates, national and international conferences, workshops, cultural meets, and technical fests are organized to enhance student engagement.

Average package and facilities .
Placements: In our college, 80% of students get placed and our college offers the highest packages at 26 Lacs on Flipkart and average packages of about 3–6 Lacs per annum. The top recording companies are TCS and another company, and 70% of students got internships at our college .
Infrastructure: Facilities and good Wi-Fi is not reachable, providing very slow internet speed and that's very good classroom and library are also very good in our college hostel facilities, which are not given by the management; the regular thali costs 25 rupees and provides 4 rotis.
Faculty: Our teaching staff and faculty are very good and knowledgeable. The student industries are ready with teachers and our managing staff. I am faced with many questions about the content of my semester exam. It all comes down to your legendary admission to Swami Vivekananda College of Engineering.
Other: Good.

Strong placements and practical curriculum, but tech exposure needs improvement.
Placements: 85% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 18 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, with an average of 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. 75% of students got internships at firms like Deloitte, etc. Roles offered are developer, analyst, consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The course offers Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a library with vast resources. Hostel facilities are decent, food in the mess is average, and sports facilities and medical care are available. The course offers excellent facilities, including high-speed WiFi, modern labs, and spacious classrooms. The library is well equipped. Hostels provide comfortable accommodation, mess food is varied but average, and sports and medical facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified, providing a good mix of theory and practical knowledge. The curriculum is industry-relevant, preparing students well for jobs. Exams are moderately tough, with an 85% pass rate on average. It was easy semester exam.
Other: I chose this course for its strong placement opportunities and practical curriculum. Best aspects: hands-on learning and career prospects. Improvements: more tech exposure. The campus is vibrant with fests, a good crowd, and extracurriculars, but better connectivity is needed.
