I am fully satisfied with my college life.

Placements: So, there are lots of opportunities available for the students so they can choose which field they want to work in and gain knowledge from. I got a chance with TCS in the financial department, which I wanted, and got 10 Lacs annually, so I am happy with my college.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are there like Wi-Fi, labs, library, and classrooms are very big, so lots of students can easily see the blackboard and learn what the teacher is teaching. There are also lots of facilities like cricket and indoor games like carrom and table tennis.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and explain each and everything about the topic and subject, so you don’t have any doubt in the subject. If you do have a doubt, they will explain it again and clear your doubt. Examinations are not tough but not easy either.

Other: This college is the best. You can enjoy your college time with friends, and lots of programs also happen.

Do not expect placements; come only if you want to save money for further education.

Placements: Our college does not even have a proper placement cell. Some job fairs are organized in our college; however, the company's main motive remains promotions and not placements. Few students get placed but the highest salary offered last time was only INR 18,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good but still considerable. Classrooms are equipped with proper desks; however, there are no projectors. Forget about air conditioning; our college does not even have proper computers for practical work. Our college does not have a canteen, and sports events are organized a few times a month.

Faculty: Teachers are not that helpful; they only come to the class, give lectures, provide notes and that's it. However, if someone has any doubts, they do try to solve them. Our course curriculum is definitely good since it follows all the syllabus and examination patterns of Calcutta University.

Good college for enjoying college life and events; loved the faculty.

Placements: Few placements have been made in recent years, but almost no one from my batch was placed. Here, mainly in the computer coaching centres and hotel management course faculty, people come for jobs. The placements are not as good as expected from this college.

Infrastructure: The college campus is very big and well maintained. This college has two library rooms, which are completely worth it for studying and mental peace. Almost every type of book is available in this library. This college has personal Wi-Fi. The infrastructure of this college is fine.

Faculty: The college has a huge number of faculty. The college has very experienced faculty with great professional skills. The professors are very highly educated, but the professors are very irregular. The examinations at this college are very strict and fully worth it.

In our college, infrastructure is good, and placement is also good. You will really enjoy it a lot.

Placements: There were many courses at Calcutta University, but none at Syamaprasad College. I am studying B.Com. accounting and finance. In this course, students are getting more than 50% placements, but it's very hard. The package for our course is INR 24,000 for three years. In our college, placement is good for leadership, executive service, etc.

Infrastructure: In our college, a library is there, classrooms are very big, a canteen is also there, and sports and games are played. In the canteen, foods are also of good quality. In our colleges, hostels are not provided. There are many machines in our college.

Faculty: Yes, in our college, the teachers are knowledgeable and quite helpful. They are teaching in a peaceful manner. They assist students in filling out their names, roll numbers, and so on during exams. Yes, this course is relevant because in companies, employees are necessary because without them, companies are not in a good position to develop.

Other: For my B.Com., I can handle the companies accounts and act as an accountant.

This college makes our futures bright.

Placements: About 50% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30000 per month, and the lowest is Rs. 10000 per month. TCS is the top recruiting company. Around 70% of students got internships at Wipro and TCS.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available. Hostel rooms are spacious and clean. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are available. We play cricket, football, and other games.

Faculty: During exams, teachers are helpful to everyone. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. 40% is the pass percentage.

Other: I am satisfied with this course. Learning is the best thing about our course.

Our college is very good.

Placements: Our college provided very high chances of getting placements in huge companies like Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj capitals, Tata, and many more well-known companies.

Infrastructure: Our college was comprised of many huge classrooms with all the digital equipment essential for classes. There was a separate department for science, commerce, and arts. The library was well-maintained with all books.

Faculty: All teachers in our college were very much experienced and very helpful. They gave their 100% to teaching students. Semester examinations were quite hard. The pass percentage was 40% for general courses and 50% for honors courses.

Placements: Placements are good but the package is not good. The average salary package offered ranges from Rs 75,000 per month to Rs 90,000 per month. They offer jobs like account executive and billing department of the company.

Infrastructure: Our college is good. Wi-Fi is enabled in this college. This college provides a game zone. The food served in the canteen is good. This place is very good, and the environment is also healthy.

Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative, and they are always helpful in class. They always guide how to study in a good way. The course makes students ready for industries. The pass percentage is 75%.

Other: Many events are held in this college. Every year celebrities visit our college and students enjoy the fest very much. This college allows participating in many events to pursue a challenging and rewarding career with a reputed organisation that would provide ample opportunities to learn, apply, and enhance students' knowledge and experience for the overall growth of their career.

Review of Syamaprasad College.

Placements: Placement does not take place but students force to provide placement. So 2018-21 batch got the opportunity. Around 3% of students got placed. There were less companies for B.Com students as compared to B.Sc. The highest salary package provided was 2.5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Kotak, Mahindra visit campus for placements. No internships are provided but students were searching themselves. B.Com students were getting the role of BPO.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very bad, walls were cracked, and no Wi-Fi. We had computer subject but never got a chance to go to computer lab as there is no computer lab. Classrooms were quite big, but the students who were sitting in backbench they won't be able to hear the lectures as there were no mics. We had a library but never allowed to sit and study but can borrow books and library teacher were very rude. There were no hostels in college, students take PG or flat outside.

Faculty: If you are a Hindi-speaking student and don't understand Bengali then this college is not for you because the teachers here are well qualified but speak only Bengali and wrong English. If you talk in English teacher will reply to you in Bengali. Most of the teachers don't come on time. They don't provide quality study, to pass the semester examination you have to take extra tuition. The difficulty level of the paper is medium they don't set hard paper but still, you don't get marks. The pass percentage is 33%, but only 30% of students qualify all the papers, and the rest 70% get back on at least 3 papers.

Other: I choose B.Com because I wanted to do CMA ( Cost and Management Accountant). This college doesn't have compulsory attendance, so by the side, you can prepare for the competitive exams. Quality of study, teacher behavior towards students, and their communication ( at least they could start teaching in English ) should be improved. Annual functions are celebrated.
