Review of The Oxford College of Science.
Placements: We have good placement opportunities. Our seniors were placed with a salary package of 3 LPA. This college offers a pre-placement training program through resource persons. They keep us updated with jobs offered as well. Interested students go for internships in their final semester.
Infrastructure: We have a canteen on the last floor. It serves good food.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very supportive and approachable. They explain the topics in detail. They give you updates on the research based on that topic. They encourage me to achieve my goal in any way possible. They guided me about my project and internship, among many other things.
Other: I chose biochemistry because it gives an understanding of how the living system operates and the causes of death. It is great to study this course. They conduct events, workshops, conferences, etc. Sports and other cultural activities are also conducted by the college. Interested students can participate in them.

The Oxford College of Science is an excellent institution for biochemistry.
Placements: Around 90% students have received placements. Placements of 3 to 4 LPA have been provided. Intense training is given to the selected students. The training happens in the college itself. Most students have been placed in Bengaluru. We are always updated about job opportunities.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs, canteen and library. THE library has every book that is required. Previous year question papers are also available in the library. We can issue upto two books at a time. A department library is also available. The canteen is clean, hygienic and affordable.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified. It is a pleasure to learn from such experienced and qualified faculty. The exams are conducted with utmost sincerity. Internal exams are conducted on a regular basis which help us brush up the course before the exams. Seminars are also conducted.

Overall, it's a good experience, as the department and faculty are good.
Placements: Almost 100% of students get placed in our college. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. It depends on the experience too. Biocon, Mylan, Dr Reddy, Cipla, etc., visit the campus. Almost 20%of students are doing internships in Biocon. Research and development and quality control and quality assurance, data analyst, lecturers, and research associate are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have very good facilities and infrastructure. Our labs are well-equipped and you get good knowledge about practicals. The library is good with a good ambiance, and classrooms are clean and tidy. The quality of food served is good and the hostel is best. The mess is clean, and medical facilities are available. They encourage sports too.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are knowledgeable and very well experienced. They guide us about careers, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and it will help to know the industry better. We can know more things about the industry and it will help to know how the industry works.
Other: I opted for this course because of my passion for this subject. If we had more time it would be good and should be conducted more practical than the theory it would be good. Events are amazing here and they will help students by giving scholarships.

Opportunities are great to redefine your basics with masters in biochemistry.
Placements: As far as placements are concerned, it would be impossible to say that college alone can provide offers for students. I think it all percolates down from the industrial perspective and how willingly they are to recruit freshers. Companies are coming on the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college supplies adequate resources to all the students and caters to the strength of more than 50 students per batch. An academically good student always finds a way to make the most out of available resources. During my tenure, our college had an excellent sports week, and I had a great time being a part of it.
Faculty: I think biochemistry sets the basics for all the life sciences study. The curriculum is thorough, and it covers the range of studies from biotechnology, physiology to biostatistics. It supplies a broader knowledge and helps students to prepare for either research or industry.
Other: Our college is always alive with some inter-departmental activities.

Gained a good memories with knowledge.
Placements: College is providing good placements for eligible candidates. About 70%of the students got placed in PCI, OMEGA. Research development is the top role offered. Salary package from2-4 Lacs/annum. About 60%got internships in pharma companies like biocon etc.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure like spacious library with computers, Classrooms with Projectors, Clean labs. Good Hostel facilities with hygienic food. Transport facilities for students from hostel to college. Inter college sports competitions from the sport department.
Faculty: Highly qualified and experienced teachers. Kind and humble teachers really helpful in improving our academics and extracurricular activities. Monthly 2-3 seminars conducted by industrial experts. Relevant curriculum which makes the students updated with the latest industry technology.
Other: I choose because I was more passionate about this course and the best thing is that we can gain more practical knowledge. The course has to be upgraded with the latest technologies used in industries. More in lab technologies has to be added. Inter college competitions are held in every semester. College conducts fest in every year. Scholarship is provided. Extracurricular activities are conducted in every semester.

Review of The Oxford College of Science.
Placements: Placements are provided by the college. Companies like Molecular Connection and Biocon visited the campus. Biocon offered internships while Molecular Connection offered the roles of scientific analysts. We had a one-day workshop on how to perform in the interview, by an expert. They conducted some tests and gave a lecture on how to perform well in an interview.
Infrastructure: The college has a good library with all standard books for all the courses. Food provided in the canteen is not much good. Bus facilities are provided by the college. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students. If you want to browse something, you have to use a computer in the library or in your department. Science labs are the worst as they don't have enough equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Some are the best at teaching, while some are the worst. Most of the faculty members use powerpoint presentations to explain anything. Some teachers explain very well, and a few just read the PPTs whether the students understand it or not. We had an industrial visit to Sami lab.
Other: Many events are conducted in college on special occasions like water day, science day etc.

You will definitely regret if you join this college.
Placements: There were no campus placements at all. Everything the management has promised is just a lie. Please beware of this college for investing your money in every step. Only BPO's, medical coding/scripting and pest control companies visit the college for campus recruitment, and you can expect 1 or 2 small companies. I have wasted my 2 years here.
Infrastructure: It is the worst college. None of the facilities is good. Projectors won't work, and there is no place in the auditorium. Our college has a library, and it is the only place you can sit. No proper parking place is available (you need to pay for parking daily). I suggest you not to join the college. You can go to Mysore or Chennai to have the best career.
Faculty: Faculty members keep on changing because of the cost-cutting done by the management. There are many internal issues within the faculty which scare the students to speak with a faculty in front of others. Concepts are taught by reading the slides without any explanation. No one opts for innovative ideas to teach.
Other: The college collects a lot of money from students and doesn't provide receipts for anything. The management is least bothered to help you. If the university has any requirement, the management staff ask for bribes to help you. They don't care about students' future. The college belongs to a trust.

The infrastructure, facilities and course are good.
Placements: We had many companies ready to hire the batchmates. Medical coding, insurance companies, dry lab, and wet lab research facilities, and internship opportunities are provided in the field of biochemical sciences. Overall, there are good opportunities to be grabbed.
Infrastructure: The labs in the biochemistry department are very well-maintained, and it inspires the students to work in it themselves as it did to me. The course study is apt and stimulates the students to study biochemistry. It helps us improve our knowledge.
Faculty: The biochemistry course curriculum is rigorous and apt as it should be, keeping up to the standards of the course.
