Absolutely satisfied because of placements and culture.

Placements: Almost 40 students were placed including all departments of my batch. The highest package is Rs 5 LPA and the lowest was Rs 2 LPA. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, CTS and HCL came for recruitment. The top roles offered were of developer and assistant system engineer Trainee.

Infrastructure: Well maintained campus with good lab facilities. Enough lab facilities with Wi-Fi. Classrooms are good and spacious. Library facilities are good enough. Mess and hostel facilities are average, don't expect much. Good play area for all kind of sports. Canteen is good.

Faculty: Knowledgeable faculty members for each subject with practical guidance. Course and curriculum is relevant to each other. It makes students ready for facing the IT industry. In semester exams, we need to work hard to get excellent marks.

Other: Cultural events and farewells are conducted annually. Scholarship facilities are available.

It offers a good environment for self-studies.

Placements: About 40% of the students got placed in the year 2019. In the year 2020, placement works are done in a full-fledged manner. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.37 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like software engineer and system engineer, are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3.37 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Students do an internship on their own, and the college gives the assistance.

Infrastructure: Computer labs are well equipped with good working systems and air-conditioned facility. Totally 3 labs are presently working, and each contains about 50 average systems. Classrooms are well ventilated, and it provides continuous staff availability. There is power interruptions do not occur. The library is provided with about 2,000 books for all departments, and students use it efficiently.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly knowledgeable. Staff members are tested every year on their performance, so everyone is qualified. Their teaching quality is based on the results our college produces every year. Our course curriculum is as per Anna University. It also encourages online courses to students to make them easily available to industries. Companies provide training for students on the basis of their performance only.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was in a constant mood of joining the IT field. My course is completely easy only when I am ready to accept all the ups and downs, and it makes me bold to attend the interview. Nothing should be improved in our course. Our college conducts events like a cultural event, farewell, and it supports students to join in neighbouring colleges events. Campus crowd is not that much appreciable as the intake every year is only 60 per department. Scholarships are available every year on family income and CGPA basis. It is located in a remote area near Arani, and things are quite developing day by day. It would surely be a great one soon.

Absolutely satisfied with college and faculty members.

Placements: Hello everyone, its important because this the time in which your going to mould your future. First of all placement plays a vital role in the selection of colleges for your studies. Here in this college you can't expect any kind of placements and internships. But you will think that it's an anna university institution then why placements and internships aren't available. Yes it's true, college of engineering, guindy (CEG) only gets the right placements and internships instead the other constituent institutions of anna university could not provide placements and internships. Still you can see some Bills and Posters on wall and so on. Please don't believe it because, the students who struggled for job placement and got placed to a company on their own efforts and the faculty members of these constituent colleges of anna university uses (or the right word will be "loots") these students hard work as tier efforts or college's reputation as it's anna university constituent college. Hence please don't join this college in the thought of getting placements and so on. Now you will be thinking that, why the government college advertises them its the truth which I understood from UG experience by studying in this the worst institution. The students are placed to the jobs on their own efforts and thus the maximum pay scale is 3lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies in which the students have got the job is TCS and HCL. Zero percent of students doesn't have got internships through the institution.

Infrastructure: Next comes infrastructure, it don't have such lab facilities you will be looking for because the computers in the lab won't work out of 50 computers 10 computers will work. Hence you can't learn while lab session and faculty members teaching the lab exercise won't teach you instead they will give you a soft copy (xerox)of programs furtherly there is no Wi-Fi facility and there is a library with old editions. Another tbing is hostel. I'm a hostoller and in my experience I have seen thrice times the lizards in the food and they won't provide you a hygienic and tasty food. Coming to canteen you can't expect as more because it has only the items which are available on road side small shops. Medical facilities is not available in the college but you can move to near by government hospital. If you are a sportsman then this college is the wrong choice because there no available of efficient physical educator (p. t sir) for you to develop your sports.

Faculty: Faculty members of this college don't have punctulity, often getting leaves and they won't teach you anything in the class instead they will make the class fun and scold the poor learning students. The faculty members won't help you in any way regarding your studies. I'm not interested in saying their teaching quality because they won't teach you anything. Beside this there are 2 to 4 faculty members who really help and educate students but the they are few. By studying in this college you will not be ready to get jobs instead you have to go for external coaching centres to improve your knowledge and skills.

Other: Computer Science engineering is a good stream which have a boom till the end of world. My long time passion and ambition is to become a software engineer so I perceived this degree. The one and only function which is held at the college is cultural fest and None other and scholarships are provided. College environment is the worst because it won't admire you on your first view because first impression is the best impression.
