Absolutely dissatisfied with college management.

Placements: It's like in the previous year I guess 25 percent of students got placed. The maximum package offered is 3 LPA and the minimum is 1 LPA. Recently Kaar Technology has been recruiting at our college and the final year students got the chance to work in this company. They offer the SAP course. If you know the SAP it will be easy to get a placement at Kaar Technology. Probably 5 percent of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Nothing special it's an ordinary one not preferable. The PCs in this college work like a dump and they don't work properly for programming. It always shows an error when you do code correctly. The classrooms are decent but the ceiling fan is very old and it makes a lot of noise. Labs and the canteen are also the worst.

Faculty: I don't understand what teachers try to convey. It is easy because of YouTube. The passing percentage is probably 80 percent. It's a very easy syllabus and also YouTube has the answers for that so it's pretty easy. Faculty members also teach. If you have any questions.

Other: I am interested in programming but now and I would like to improve all the things and infrastructure of my college. The infrastructure machines, PCs are like a dump, so the college must change the computers in the college. Events are okay and cultural fests are also pretty good this year.

Not a good college. I wouldn't recommend it.

Placements: About 80% are placed in my course. The highest salary package would be 22 LPA, and the lowest would be 93 LPA. There are only a few top recruiters, including Cisco, TCS, and that's all, I guess. Then, about internships. Most of us just get one in start-ups, and anyone I heard of has done one in an MNC. Top roles would be software developer, junior developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure, I hate it. It's the worst, and Wi-Fi is not provided, labs are properly maintained, and classrooms are very poor. The benches, oh god, they can't be worse, and for the library, it is okayish. I'm not a hosteler, so I don't really know much about hostels, but some of my classmates who are ones have said that it's not a good experience.

Faculty: Only a handful of teachers are actually knowledgeable, and so the teaching quality is barely average. The course curriculum is not relevant at all, and it doesn't make you industry-ready. Semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is usually around 80 -70 percent.

Other: I didn't have much knowledge back then, so I somehow ended up with this course. I would be much better if things were more practical than theoretical. There aren't many events that they celebrate here. They only started Pongal celebrations this year, so events are okayish, I guess.

IFET Engineering College.

Placements: The placement records from our college are acceptable. We are asked to attend both the on-campus and off-campus placements. Companies like EY, R&N, and Accenture hire students from this college every year. There are a lot of internship opportunities provided by our college.

Infrastructure: It's one of the top engineering colleges in the Villupuram district. Our classrooms are well-maintained with spacious, air-ventilated rooms. There is a big, spacious library located within the campus, with all the resources for searching. And our teachers encourage us to participate in sports.

Faculty: Our lectures mostly prefer to take industrial-oriented practical sessions rather than PowerPoint presentations. It was very difficult to crack semester examinations, so we have to study harder to pass the examinations with higher grades. Our teachers were very helpful.

Students are placed, not onboard .

Placements: Coming to placement, our college gives the good training and record, but the things so many students not worked in their placed companies due to the company couldn't call the candidates still now. So be aware of the placement which they conducted. All the best!

Infrastructure: Teaching of course is good, there are very few doctorate professor to teach the complex lessons into make very easy to teach and learn. Coming to hostel, the food menu is good, some foods are very bad. Food management and hostel management is bad compared to other colleges.

Faculty: Teaching quality of staff is good. Need to provide more teaching resources to faculty to deliver the best knowledge to students. Students are attending and working on projects, they are all not industry ready projects. So, they need to focus more on industry ready projects. Exams are very easy to write. There is no difficulties .

Other: I chose CSE because of my passion on this course. You have update regularly on technical and non technical things. Then, you have to balance both soft skills and hard skills to attain the requirements of industry ready.

Our college provides good facilities.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. There are very good placements. Top recruiting companies include Infosys. Every student should have an 8.5 CGPA to attend campus interviews.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Hostels are clean. Labs are very good. The internet facilities in the lab are very good. The products that are available are in good condition. There is only one canteen in the college. Medical facilities are fascinating.

Faculty: Faculty members are very strict. Discipline is the main thing in our college. Exams are conducted very strictly. The percentage is nearly 89%. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are very helpful in problem-solving. They are very knowledgeable.

Other: There are no festivals at our college. They conduct an annual day and a sports day. Extracurricular activities are conducted.

Review of IFET College of Engineering.

Placements: In our course, CSE, 95% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 12.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cisco, Wipro etc. Networking is the top role offered in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Every department has a library, and it's very useful. The classrooms are great enough to accommodate 40 students. The canteen is average. The food is average. The hostel food is good.

Faculty: Teachers are very good at teaching. Teachers have enough knowledge to teach us. We have placement training classes to get placed in top companies. Semester exams are very easy because teachers teach well. We can score good marks in semester exams.

Other: I want to become a software engineer, so I chose this course to learn coding. I want to become a team leader. Practical part can be improved. Scholarships are good. Transportations facilities are good.

The college is well acquainted with qualified staff and strict management.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students who showed interest in placements got placed. The highest package is 3.6 LPA, and the average package is 3.4 LPA. I'm not much aware of the lowest package. Aspire Systems, Solver Minds, Tech Mahindra, TCS and Wipro are some of the top recruiters. Almost everyone who got placed was offered an internship.

Infrastructure: We have well-lit and well-ventilated classrooms and a peaceful library. The hostel offers good quality food. The premises are average clean and tidy. Sports and games are encouraged by the college management. If the student has any other talent, it will also be encouraged.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and friendly enough. They would literally help and encourage the students in all endeavours. Semester and curriculum are planned by the organisation since it is an autonomous college. However, they're worth the current technical scenarios.

IFET was one of the finest colleges where students can learn, score and get placed.

Placements: Students who scored above 60% were most likely eligible for recruitment in most of the companies on campus. Students were offered salary packages varying from 2 LPA to 6 LPA. Companies like Infoview, Infosys, HCL, TCS, etc., were the top recruiters. The role offered was as a software engineer. Around 60% of the students got internship training.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was well and good for an engineering college with a good hostel and mess facilities. All the labs were well-arranged with well-working equipment and systems. Multiple sports were permitted to play. Every year sports day was celebrated in a good way.

Faculty: Our college was strict in providing coaching to students. They train students and help them to score good grades. All the lectures were well knowledgeable. They assign PhD professionals for the core subjects. Some faculty members taught well, and the practicals made it easy to understand things.

Other: I opted for this course because I like technologies since my schooling. When I was studying, the college was under Anna University. So the syllabus was the same for all the college under Anna University. We felt some course are outdated, and some up to date courses are needed to teach. But now, I heard that it is autonomous, and the latest technologies and practicals are taught to the current students. We missed it. Overall it was one the fine college to score, learn and get placed. But it was a strict college too. As a student in that age, everyone felt it was strict, but later on, they realise it was most needed for them to survive for the industrial standard.
