This college will give you lots of memories, but not a good placement.
Placements: I recently graduated from the University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan. This particular college gives me lots of memories, but not a perfect placement. If you are looking for just a government tag at the university, then you are welcome.
Infrastructure: At this university, you will have access to numerous courses; in fact, you can pursue a master's degree here, as it is a reputable institution. The hostels are quite good but not so impressive. The infrastructure is ancient. There is no regular maintenance that's why you don't expect to get AC rooms.
Faculty: The strongest point here is the faculty members. They are very collaborative and very good. You will get all the help from them. As this is an autonomous university, I know exam pressure is just a hill, so give your exam and get your degree. You will get lots of time with no attendance tension.
Other: If you are looking for a good college with normal placement with a government tag, especially saying this is not only a college—this is a university, basically. Then please come here.

Overpriced and underwhelming, a wasted opportunity.
Placements: The placement percentage for IT students at UIT Bardwan tends to be on the higher side compared to other branches, often ranging from 10% to 20%. Some reviews even suggest a 90% chance of placement through individual experiences. It may vary; it's important to note that these figures might include both on-campus and off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Houston Quarry is not so good because we have to equip Wi-Fi with our money, offering shared drones based on the amenities. Common areas and food in the mess receive mixed reviews, ranging from bad to good. The food is not good, but oily, while canteen food is slightly better for snacks. Medical facilities are available via the investing health center and the proximity to our medical college. Sports are not encouraged with on-campus facilities, and the university playground is not very accessible.
Faculty: Semester exams at Ebay Badman are generally described as moderate to difficult while some papers can be passed by studying previous years questions other can be unpredictable and tough a key requirement for appearing in exams is maintaining a minimum of 75% attendance to pass sessional or practical subjects its 50% exams is reported to be quite high around 70 to 19 to 95% in some accounts particularly if friends there to class nodes and faculty guidance.
Other: Value for money is low; fees are steep for what you get. Outdated labs, inconsistent Wi-Fi, and a curriculum that barely touches current industry trends. Placement stats are inflated, and you are mostly on your own for profile skill development. Campus life is dead, the crowd is uninspired, and events are few and far between. There is zero real buzz, connectivity is poor outside fixed labs, and the surroundings are landscaped. Extracurricular activities are non-existent unless you initiate everything yourself. Don't expect a vibrant college experience; it's just a degree. This place needs a serious overhaul.

Decent college with supportive faculty, but average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement is below 20% in our course. The highest package was around 5 LPA, average around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS and local firms. Few got internships in small companies with roles like web development and IT support. Core jobs were rare.
Infrastructure: The department has basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel is average with limited amenities. Mess and canteen food are manageable. Medical support is minimal, and sports facilities are basic, with few regular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, though teaching quality varies. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is generally around 70- 80%. Teachers are strict.
Other: I chose this course out of interest in the field. It offers good basics and moderate exposure. Curriculum and practical training need improvement. Fests and events are average, the crowd is friendly, and the campus has decent connectivity and surroundings.

Great college with supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and strong placement opportunities.
Placements: Computer Science department is the best department of this college. Supportive teachers, supportive seniors and placement opportunities at our college have been impressive, with many reputed companies visiting campus each year. Leading recruiters such as TCS, Mahindra, and Vodafone have consistently offered job roles to deserving candidates across various departments. Placement cell works tirelessly to prepare students through training programs, mock interviews, and soft skills development, ensuring they are industry-ready. With a strong track record and growing corporate connections, college continues to provide a solid platform for students to launch their professional careers.
Infrastructure: Hostel is extremely safe for girls mess food is also very clean and tasty facilities are above average not best but safe for girls specially the ones who are from other states we have hospital and medical shops nearby and immediate help is provided when needed .
Faculty: Exams are held in a very disciplined manner, it is not very difficult but on a good level if you focus on lectures you will ace it. Curriculum is strict and faculty is very experienced very interactive teachers and computer labs available for students to practice coding under the guidance .
Other: Campus life is very hill and some other pooja celebration is sufficient to freshen up your mind I choose this course because of the excellent faculty .

UIT, BU has its pros and cons. It depends on students what they want.
Placements: Students of CS, ECE, and IT are placed mainly. Most of the students crack off-campus. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Mahindra, Solar, Capgemini, Vodafone, Infosys, etc. Mainly, small internships are provided by the college, and mostly students do them on their own.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are above average but not best. Infrastructure is quite good. Lab is air-conditioned. Computers are back date, but still work fine. Coming to hostel, the girls' hostel is super safe, and food quality is not bad either. You will have very cooperative seniors. Rooms of the hostel are just like any other normal government college. For medical issues, immediate aid is provided, and there are also many hospitals and medical shops nearby. College consists of one ground where maximum sports activities happen.
Faculty: Teachers are quite interactive, helpful, and professional. Since it is a college, you have to look out for yourself, the food will not be placed on your plate by itself. Semesters are mostly easy, but for some courses, it is a nightmare. Courses make students theoretically ready, but for industry, you have to do things on your own, like DSA and development. They are not taught by professors like any other college. Many students prepare for GATE and other exams.
Other: Best thing about CSE is that faculty members provide us opportunities and support us in our studies. Regular events happen. Fest is celebrated with pomp and show. Home state students are provided with many scholarships. There are also many extracurricular activities, like sports. Campus surroundings are also very nice and fresh.

I'm disappointed with faculty's behavior. But good placement in 2015 off-campus.
Placements: 2% of students got placed off-campus. The highest package is 7.5 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. There are no recruiting companies visits our college. Students only get placed off-campus. I think, 1% of students got internships in Wipro. Top roles offered are software developer and system design.
Infrastructure: The quality of classrooms is good but hostel quality is not good. Wi-Fi labs is here and classrooms and board are not clean and so dusty. Hostel food is not good. Canteen in college is good and there is no medical facility or sports and games. There is only one playground it's only for cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful but knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant and teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderate. Pass percentage is 30%. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready to get jobs on their own. Semester exams are easy to moderate.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an analog coder.
