Big campus with good college life. One of the best faculty and a good environment.
Placements: In our last batch, almost 50% of students got on-campus placements and the rest got off-campus or cleared other exams like GATE. Good placements with high packages and a good study environment.
Infrastructure: Nice and well-maintained facilities are available in our college, and advanced labs and instruments are available for practical. Classrooms are well maintained and enough technical with smart board and projector facilities, good mess food with cheap canteen facilities. Seniors and junior relationships are very nice and ragging-free campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and very helpful, studies are specially for industries requirements.

RKMGEC is an overview of a government institution in West Bengal.
Placements: My course is Electrical Engineering. Generally speaking, our college is good in terms of affordability but not great for placements. However, if you are a diligent student and work hard, you can easily find a good job. The placement scenario in our college is mostly dependent on individual brilliance. With that said, the average package ranges from 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Also, most of our students opt for higher education or other government jobs (GATE or ESE).
Infrastructure: The college facilities are below average. The internet connection is unstable throughout the campus, with Wi-Fi being almost useless. Labs are not up to the mark due to a lack of funding from the government. Classrooms are decent, but they lack smart class features. As for the hostel, it is clean and tidy, and the maintenance is good. But the internet issue still persists inside the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are above average in our college. They all have great knowledge of their respective subjects. Moreover, teachers help keep track of industry standards and help students learn new skills. However, the course curriculum is not relevant, as several subjects related to industrial knowledge are excluded. When it comes to semester exams, they are quite easy, and you just have to score 40% to get promoted to the next semester.
Other: The reason I choose the electrical domain is that I have a strong passion for it. Also, the scope for both government and private jobs is ample. You can also pursue higher studies in areas like VLSI or EVs to secure a high salary. The college also hosts several cultural and technical events, such as Independence Day, Sports Day, and Saraswati Puja, to name a few.

Preferable College Campus.
Placements: Placement availability is very less; it seems of very poor quality. There are some companies that visit for placement, but most of the companies are from non-core branches. For core companies, there is a very low percentage. Internship opportunities for students are not available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities of the college campus are quite preferable. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library facilities are available. Hostel facilities are also nice and preferable. The food quality in the mess is nice and healthy. Canteen facilities are also available within the college campus.
Faculty: The professors of our college are very helpful. They are very well-mannered, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Teaching quality is also preferable. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready. The semester exams are not so hard to qualify for most subjects, but there are some tough subjects included in the course to clear the exams.

Review of Ramkrishna Mahato Government Engineering College.
Placements: Almost 40% of students get placed. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company for our course. 10-12% of students get internships. Our placement cell is run by a chemical professor, and he used to speak Bengal with all placement officers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is useless but classrooms are good. The library is useless. The hostel depends on students and hostel food also. But the canteen food is not so good but okay. We did not eat at the hostel and we ate at the canteen.
Faculty: Our department teachers are so helpful to everyone. I will not say everyone but some of them make students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not that hard and it also depends on our studies throughout the semester.
Other: I chose this college because I thought I would be a government college engineer. Students need to improve and not the course. Events organised are good.

The infrastructure and facilities are good, but teachers are not that experienced.
Placements: Last year, 80 percent of students from the ECE department were placed. The highest package is 13 LPA. Hitecnext, HCL, Infratech, and Pasoori are the top companies giving most placements. 40% of students intern at HCL. The executive officer is the top post in our course.
Infrastructure: There are labs for every subject which are required. The number of machines are less, but we can easily adjust. There is a library, which is pretty good, and classrooms are okay. There is a mess facility, a medical facility, and a common room for sports. The room has a capacity of 3 students, giving them with a bed and a table.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified with a Ph.D. degree, but the teaching is not that good. Our college gives industrial training to students. The semester exams are tough, and the pass percentage is 78 percent. The guarding during the examinations is pretty good.
Other: I chose ECE because I want to learn about communication, particularly wireless communication. I hope teachers have good teaching skills and that there are more labs. Every year, there is a tech and cultural fest that occurs for 3 days, and there are events on Teachers' Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, Saraswati Puja, and Vishwakarma Puja.
