WBJEE Counselling 2025 was conducted in two rounds, namely Round 1 and Round 2, followed by the Defence quota counselling.
Candidates must verify the following documents at their allotted institutes at the time of counselling.
- All rank holders – Class 10 admit card/birth certificate for verification of date of birth
- All rank holders – Class 10 Mark sheet
- All rank holders –Class 12 Mark sheet
- WB domiciled candidates - Domicile
- SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B rank holders – Respective category certificate.
- PwD rank holders – PwD
- TFW rank holders – Income certificate

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc. with Maths at 10+2 level from a recognised board. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidates completed M.Sc. in Computer Science/ComputerApplications/Mathematics (with Computer Science Specialisation), MCA (with BCA or B.Sc. with Mathematics compulsory and any of the others from Statistics, Physics, Electronics or Computer Science) from any recognised institute/ university are also eligible to apply. |
| MCA | Candidate who qualify eligibility as given below can also apply: Module 4 Candidate must have obtained a BSc Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics. They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognised Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level. Candidate have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education. |
Kalyani Government Engineering College Kalyani WBJEE Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 2 across different BE/BTech specialisations. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the HS quota. The Cutoff for the General HS category ranged between 1611 and 4039. The most competitive and the least competitive course for the General HS category were BTech in CSE and BTech in Mechanical Engineering, respectively.
