Good placements, decent infrastructure, average hostel food, and a supportive learning environment.
Placements: Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology has shown good placement performance, especially in the CSE department. Around 70-80% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 8.4 LPA, and the average package ranges from 3.2-4 LPA. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Capgemini, and Cognizant. About 60% of students secured internships through platforms like TCS iON, Eduskills, and APSSDC, often in collaboration with companies like AWS and Palo Alto. The most common roles offered include software developer, full stack developer, data analyst, and QA engineer.
Infrastructure: Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology offers well-developed infrastructure and facilities for its students, especially in departments like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with digital boards and projectors. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, providing internet access throughout the academic buildings and hostels. The CSE department features modern computer labs with updated systems, high-speed internet, and licensed software for coding and development. The hostel facilities are decent, with separate buildings for boys and girls. Rooms are mostly shared with basic amenities like cots and study tables.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced at Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology. We can easily pass the semester exams. A total of 8 semesters will be thrown out over four years.
Other: I would prefer AI and this course. It is the trending technology and the best courses. In Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology, every year a lot of events are conducted like fest, abroad scholarship, placement training event, extracurricular activities, science club, etc. Every year, fests are conducted and contain technology and non-technical activities. Extracurricular activities are also conducted for every festival.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: There are no placements in my college but they charge money for that. It does not provide internships in companies. Companies visit the college to recruit students. I am very disappointed with the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is no Wi-Fi, and mobile is not allowed in college. Library facilities are available. The hostel is okay for rooms but the mess is the worst. If we have any health issues, they always give a paracetamol tablet. Games are good, and it provides one hour for games weekly.
Faculty: Teachers have good knowledge. Their main goal is to complete the syllabus on time. The course curriculum is just to get the marks for the semester and it is not useful for industrial purposes. They do not provide any industry training. Semester exams are tough, and the pass percentage is 4o%.
Other: I chose the electronics and communication engineering course. It has to improve lab facilities. They are just saying how to get outputs but they are not explaining why we need this.

Absolutely good and positive environment.
Placements: CSE and ECE students had good opportunities, and advanced courses like artificial intelligence and computer science engineering were available in the college. Top recruitment companies were HCL, Swan, Kia Motors, and more.
Infrastructure:
The college had good labs, a good library, and good computer labs with good maintenance. The hostel had good food maintenance and hygiene. It was good for health with a proper diet maintain. A free gym was also available, and good Wi-Fi was available in the library and hostels.
Faculty: Faculty was good. Professors were well-educated professionals. Semester exams were easy to get good marks in if you studied well, with no excuses for copying. If you get good marks in internal exams. It was very easy to score good marks in the final semester, and great knowledge was available.
Other:
I chose this course because there was a good future in courses like ECE and CSE. It was better to improve one's mentality. Events and fests were very well, and the environment was good. Many students get scholarships in this college.

Good faculty and infrastructure, but dissatisfied because of low placement percentage.
Placements: A very low percentage of students were placed, approximately 10% to 15%. There were no top recruiting companies interested in my course. Coming to internships, around 70% to 75% of students done internships at Resolute Company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in classrooms was good and very comfortable for attending lectures. Coming to labs also had good facilities, like a system for each student with access to Wi-Fi. The hostel was also good, but sometimes the food was not good.
Faculty: All faculty members in my course were qualified and knowledgeable. They taught in very friendly and good according to the subject. In this college, the semester exams were conducted very strictly, especially in my course. The pass percentage was 79%.

I am disappointed with the college placements and infrastructure.
Placements: We know that in 2024, there were fewer placements throughout Andhra Pradesh compared to the remaining years. Our college did not show any placement. There are a total of 3 sections A, B and C. In every section, there are 50 students. I am a lateral entry student. I am from the ECE-C Section. The highest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs infrastructure is average compared to other colleges. The library is small. Our college does not allow mobile in classrooms, and we should place them in a locker at 8.30 AM and take mobile while going home at 4 PM. We have to buy the lockers from the college per year, and its cost is Rs. 600. Canteen food is the worst, and there are no snacks. The canteen accepts only cash but not UPI payment. Our college provides per week 1 sports period only.
Faculty: Faculty members from ECE are very knowledgeable and trained in specific fields like IOT, Embedded, etc. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is different from other colleges. Semester exams are very easy, and students can pass by knowing the most important questions. The pass percentage is 37% out of 100%. Faculty members are good. Mostly our ECE branch faculty members are very strict and dedicated to work.
Other: I am from the Diploma ECE branch, which made me choose the same branch. I am interested in electronics. I am one of the top students in the college.
