It is a very good college.

Placements: UPTTI provides a wide range of courses in textile and fiber technology course. It does not require a very high percentage in gate examination and it provides good placements. The average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 40 LPA

Infrastructure: UPTTI does not have a very good infrastructure as the campus is very old which was built in the British Era. Hostels are quite good as they are not so old.

Faculty: College faculty members are average. As it is a government college, professors do not pay much attention to students. Courses are very good making students brighter in particular subjects. Semester exams are quite difficult and good. The college provides many courses ranging in the field of textile and have a very good future in jobs.

Other: I chose this college because in Kanpur, it is the best college for textile engineering. It is also very cheap compared to other government colleges.

Review of Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute (UPTTI).

Placements: Approximately 90% got placed and those who have GATE qualified are not agreed to get placement. In my senior, 4th year got AIR 1 from our college in textile. The highest package was 15 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. But here everything depends on talent. A more talented one may get more chances of getting packages.

Infrastructure: All facilities are provided by the college quite finely. But when students get admission here they start to enjoying because campus guards do not restrict who is wandering where but after midnight none should go out. This college is better for those who want higher studies here. Everyone can qualify for GATE and UPSC.

Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders and GATE qualified. The education system of this college is very good and also all requirement is provided by the college like sports kit, lab material, and an annual function fund. The exam is conducted according to the A. K. T. U. calender.

Other: There is less crowd but better campus life.

All faculty members here are well behaved and helping in nature.

Placements: The average salary package offered in campus placements is approximately 4 LPA. There are some types of errors, and the number of students getting placed is decreasing because of companies' selection and their criteria. As this is a government college, it gained much popularity and is seeking much attention.

Infrastructure: There is a good environment and infrastructure also. Sometimes we face many problems like food-related, and the current situation of the college is not good. Libraries are very spacious, and about 10,000-15,000 books are available in our library. The library has air-conditioning facilities and more tables and chairs and peaceful places. At the current time, this college is going to expand in more space, and the construction of new laboratories is in a working process.

Faculty: Exams are designed carefully and knowledge-oriented also. It will help students to improve their knowledge and industrial exposure also. Exams help students to try to recognise their capabilities, and some of the exams help them to improve their communication also. Sometimes they are designed to be tough, and some corrections are going to be made. Some of the changes required are fulfilled and are still in progress.

Other: All events are held every month, and they appreciate students. Every week our college organises new workshops and personality enhancing classes and some physical appearance lectures.

I am satisfied with the college. They provided good placements in 2017. It has average facilities.

Placements: Above 50% of the students are placed in our college. The average salary packages are offered in our course. But we should get more offers because students here are very knowledgeable and capable. Trident is the top recruiting company of our college. Above 80% of the students got internships from our course. Production of fiber or fabric is the role offered. Textile field is good and it has good value because the use of textile will never end.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good. Wi-Fi network speed is average, and labs are also average. The classrooms are of good quality. Library is better. Hostel, canteen, and mess facilities are average. Medical facility is not provided. Sports and games are good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is also good and they are always ready to clear our doubts and help us to improve our knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Because of Covid, semester exams in this college are not good. Above 90% of the students pass in our college.

Other: I opted for this course because B.Tech from the textile field is good. Textiles is a broad field. The college needs to improve lab facility and set-up new technology machines in our course.

It is the best textile engineering college in North India.

Placements: Approximately 85-90% of the students got placed during placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.85 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.4-3 LPA. Top recruiters are Raymond, Vardhman, Trident, etc. In 2019-2020, the placement percentage got down due to covid-19, which is approximately 35-40% only.

Infrastructure: It is a government college, so the infrastructure is not good. The college has different hostels for each year, i.e., it has separate hostels for each year students. The quality of mess food is good and hygienic, but the sitting arrangement is not good. Sometimes we eat food in the standing position. Wi-Fi is available in the college only, but in the hostel, it is not working.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and they can solve your doubts if you can ask them. Otherwise, they don't help you. If you are preparing for GATE or other competitive examinations, then some teachers help you, but some don't help. It depends on your behavior how you impressed them.

College is good, and campus life is amazing. We enjoyed a lot during B.Tech.

Placements: Placements are good, but due to corona, placements are lesser. However, overall placements are good, and almost all students got placed in this college. I also got placed in a top company. Some companies which visit here are Reliance, Trident, Vardhaman, etc. All of them offer a good salary package.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good, but there is a low level of clean drinking water. Hostel washrooms are not that good. Apart from this, we enjoy our hostel rooms where we learn a lot of things about life.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some of them are very good, and some are supportive. Some are very bad. Overall, knowledge of some teacher is amazing, and they teach very well. You can prepare for GATE exam by their efforts, especially one teacher.

Other: Campus life is amazing.

Placements, facilities and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are 100% in each branch. Ma made fibre technology is one of the best branches of this college. Many companies like Trident, Bhilosa, Vardhman, etc., visit and hire students by conducting interviews. They offered a minimum salary package of 4 LPA to 15 LPA depending on students' performances.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college provides students with Wi-Fi. The furniture in our classroom is very good, and there are smart classes. We got every book related to textile and others in our college library. In our college, girls and boys hostels are separated. Hostels environment is very good. The mess provides tasty and healthy food for students. The college organises many sports and games for students in February.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very good and experienced. Most of our professors are very informative and deeply knowledgeable. They are always available to give guidance and provide us with extra activities. The course is related to the textile field, and it is very interesting because it is different from others. The exam pattern includes 2 CT, 1 semester, internals and practical marks.

Other: After 12th I have passed the entrance exam of UPTU provided by AKTU. After that, I got admission in UPTTI situated at Kanpur. I have chosen man made fibre technology because in this branch I can explore my knowledge. The best thing about our course is it is all about clothes that how they make, etc. Clothes are a very important thing and always remain important. Our college celebrates each festival for students. For new students, the college conducts a fresher party for students' interaction with college and faculty members.

Students get admission here through UPSEE exam after IET Lucknow. I would rate it 7 out of 10.

Placements: About 90% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Bhilosa, Trident, etc. Approximately 100% of the students got their internships in companies like Bhilosa, Victoriya Mile, Vardhman, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good now. Hostels are very good. Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus. Food is not good at the hostel, but it is average. There are good facilities for sports. There is a library, but students very rarely use this for study. Books are easily available in the library.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and qualified, but they don't support students much. Other facilities like out of syllabus and extra curriculum are also not good. Students did not enjoy their career well in this college. It is average in education mostly, and students are not satisfied.
