It is one of the best colleges among other textile colleges.
Placements: Our college has very decent placements. There are four departments namely textile technology, textile engineering, textile chemistry, and man-made fiber. Each department has more than 90% of placements. Many companies visit here to offer employment like Trident, Vardhman, RSWM, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. There are four boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. There is an another hostel for M.Tech students. Quite good facilities are provided in the hostel. All facilities like water, mess, light, furniture and almost everything for your comfort is available. The food quality is not good enough.
Faculty: In our college, faculty members are very helpful and are Ph.D. holders and have good knowledge of their fields. The teaching quality is good. Firstly, they teach us and then we can do practicals. Semester exams are not tough in our college. The percentage is above 80%.
Other: I chose this course because of the suggestion of my elder brother. The best thing about this course is that we can gain in-depth knowledge about machines.

Placements: Our college has excellent placements. Nearly 92% of students are placed from campus selection. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Trident, Vardhman, Reliance, Aravind, Raymond, Welspun, GBTL, Colorjet, Sagar Yarn, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college ground has a huge green cross group. Our college facilities are not enough. There is Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Labs of all textile subjects and a library are available.
Faculty: Our college teachers are very helpful in our subjects. Teachers with good experience in related subjects, because they are Ph.D. holders and M.Tech holders.

Good college in comparison of other UPTU college.
Placements: 80-90% of the students get placed every year from our college. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. A good number of companies visit every year at our college and offer good placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, but the condition of classrooms and labs is good. The library is very small, but it is good. Medical facilities are good enough, but the mess and canteen are average. Sports facilities are very good, and the college provides every equipment.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and qualified. Some teachers are not worthy. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are hard in the first year, and many students fail in many subjects, mainly in mathematics. From the second year to the final year, exams are very easy for students, and they can get 60-70% marks by reading before one day of exams. The pass percentage is 30%. .

Placements: Placement is 100%, the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Internships are provided by the college itself. Top recruiting companies are Welspun, Bhilosa, Reliance, etc. Many top GATE rank holders are from this college. Many got selected for IITs etc.
Infrastructure: It has old-styled infrastructure. The Wi-Fi facility is available only on campus not in the hostel. They organise Sphurti, outdoor sports events, and Tarang, indoor sports events every year. The central library is there with fully air-conditioned. Books for all 4 years can be issued.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. It has four branches, textile engineering, textile technology, Textile chemistry, and man-made fiber technology. We have two class tests before the semester exams. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty.
Other: They organise freshers' party, farewell party, annual day and many sports events.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Trident Private Limited, Reliance Petroleum and Vardhman Private Limited visit our campus for placements. None of the students from our course got an internship this year, but in the previous year, about 80% of the students got an internship in companies like Vardhman Private Limited, Arvind Textile, Welspun, Winsome, Raymond and Trident Private Limited. Top roles, like shift manager, general manager and assistant manager, are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is good. Some libraries are very advanced, but some are in very poor condition, and some are under construction. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good. The food provided by the mess is very bad. The canteen is normal. Sports facilities are very good, and every event is organised with full zeal. I hope the college should add some advanced level courses in our course. Events and fest organised are the fortunes of this college. Even Diwali party and Shivratri are celebrated here. Everything is celebrated in its own ways. The connectivity and surroundings of the college are very good. Scholarships get deposited in students bank accounts every year. Many events, trips and training are organised through the college. Relations between senior and junior is very good. Seniors are very helpful for juniors. Even pass out seniors provide jobs and internships for juniors, but you have to make relation with them.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech textile engineering course, and I am from 2019-2023 batch. Placements are highlight thing of this college. Around 70-80% of the students get placed through on-campus placements, and students opt for higher studies, etc. Top recruiting companies like Villosa Group, Reliance Industries, Welspun textiles, Jayashree Textiles, Wardhaman, etc., visit our college for placements. Trident also visits our campus for on-campus placements with the salary package that offered ranges between 1.63-15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.4 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got an internship at the college.
Infrastructure: The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Our college provides very good testing labs for us, and they are equipped with the costly and accurate testing machine. Our college provides a modern computer lab. Our lab staff maintain the lab very well. Hospitals are good, and their room is huge. Our college provides a LED tube light and 2 fans in a room. There is a water cooler on every floor, but it never works, and we buy drinking water. Food served in the mess is average, and there is a mess area in the hostel assigned to every year of the course like the first year, second year, etc. There is a canteen on our campus which operates daily. The college also has a dispensary and a doctor. Our college provides health insurance to every student, which renew every year.
Faculty: The course curriculum is up-to-date. Teachers in our college are well-qualified. They have good knowledge of their subjects. They don't need books to teach you as they know the entire content of books. The course curriculum is designed according to industries needs, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I opted this college because I wanted to study textile. It is the best college with the best placements. Our college performed well in the civil service exam, GATE, etc. The college surroundings are lush green. The campus is connected very well by Kanpur Central Railway Station. Our college is located on the VIP road, and it has a good environment. Our college organises many extracurricular activities like poetry competitions, article writing, hackathon, etc.

College is very good at placements and teachers.
Placements: About 85% of the students get their job. This year, more than 5 students get a salary package of more than 10 LPA. The minimum salary package offered in textile engineering is 3 LPA. Many companies visit our college, such as Trident, Vardhaman, Bhilosa, ST Cotex, Raymond and many others. More than 90% of the students got their internship directly from college. There are many roles which companies offer, such as spinning, weaving, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is renovating, so new buildings are under construction. Our college campus has free Wi-Fi facility, water cooling machine, and hostels also have geyser for winter as add-ons. Classrooms have a capacity of more than 100 students. There are library and labs which are renovated recently. There is a medical for students on the college campus. There is a big playground for students and an auditorium for any event or programme. There is a canteen also.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful and qualified, and they give their whole efforts to teach students. They organise industrial visits from time to time by which students can understand easily. They organise many workshops for students. They make their students industry-ready.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from any recognised board.
Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
