Vaagdevi College of Engineering is a memorable college.

Placements: The top recruiting companies like Cisco, BHEL, Intel, Texas Instruments, etc., visit our college regularly to hire students from the ECE branch. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest offered is 6 LPA. Almost 60 percent of students got internship opportunities in top companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Samsung, etc. Around 79 percent of students got placed in companies through campus drives only. Roles offered in my branch are embedded systems, electronics design engineer, control engineering, signal processing, etc. Almost all the students went through on-campus drives and through tasks as well.

Infrastructure: The college has a good environment with greenery everywhere. It has mango, coconut, and neem trees everywhere on our campus. The college has good laboratories with quality machines, equipment, and kits related to our branch, with expert lab assistants. The college has neat classrooms with projectors in each room and open Wi-Fi for all students. The college has a lot of buildings and a separate building for a separate branch. The college has 24 24-hour medical facility and a canteen with low prices. There is a wonderful library with a lot of books, journals, and novels.

Faculty: The college has wonderful faculty members. They all are doctorates from reputed universities. Their teaching is excellent. They treat us like mother and father. They give a lot of information regarding the subject and career. Semester exams are going very well with my faculty members because they teach useful information. Most of the students become ready for the industry because of my faculty members. The pass percentage in our college is about 78 percent. Teachers are very helpful in clearing all doubts and learning new things.

Other: It conducts weekly events like quizzes, singing, dancing, etc. Students are only conducting events, etc. The college provides NCC for interested students every year.

Waste of time and money, boring college life, the worst infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 200+ students placed. Highest is 10.8 LPA, low, don’t know. Company: TCS. Internships are very low, like 2–3 in TCS. There are few technical groups or student communities. Pass percentage is 60 percent and below.

Infrastructure: Facilities are the worst I can say as a student, and infrastructure is still under construction for the last 5–6 years, I guess. There are no proper labs and equipment for students, no cleanliness, and the worst washrooms. Canteen is no good to sit.

Faculty: The worst faculty members. Few of them even studied in the same college and got jobs by corruption and nepotism. Course is very relevant, and semester exams are also good. It even makes the students sit and listen to class daily. Teaching is the worst.

Other: Had no choice left. There are no best things to talk about the college or course. Few events for freshers and few technical events.

College with skilled management and the best infrastructure.

Placements: The college is good. It has average placements and that is mostly for CSE students. The courses offered are CSE, EEE, ECE, civil, mechanical, and so on. The average package is about 5 LPA. Students got internships from 3rd year.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure. College has digital library. We also have a central library. Mess and canteen are available separately for faculty members and students. Sports are conducted once a week. The quality of education is excellent.

Faculty: Faculty members are good at teaching. Semester exams are conducted twice. The industry visits are there to have practical knowledge. Pass percentage from our branch is about 60%. The subjects are real time based. The faculty are qualitative and knowledge.

The pleasurable college of Vaagdevi Technology.

Placements: The highest package offered from my branch is 8 LPA and the lowest offered is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies from my branch are Microsoft, Google, Cognizant, Capgemini, and many more companies that visit our college regularly. The top roles offered by CSE are Software development, Data Science, web development, mobile app development, etc. Almost 80 percent of the students got placed in the above companies. Around 60 percent of the students got internship opportunities in top MNCs like IBM India, Infosys, and more. Most of the students got placed through campus drives, and some of them went outside.

Infrastructure: The college provides campus recruitment training every year for final year students to crack jobs in on-campus drives. The college has a wonderful library with all the books used for competitive students like GATE. There is a digital library also, which is accessible to all the students and faculty. The college has huge laboratories with a lot of systems for executing code like C, Python, and Java. The college has a lot of auditoriums for events. The college has a canteen with quality items at low cost. The college has a 24-hour medical facility with an ambulance available.

Faculty: In our college, the faculty are very strict, and their teaching is very nice, and all the faculty are doctors from reputed universities. They are telling a lot of things that are related to the subject and career. The pass percentage in our college is about 88 percent. The semester exams are going easily when we listen carefully to the subject, almost all the faculty try to fill all the subjects in our minds. From our college, some of the students went abroad for higher studies and jobs. The college students participate in a lot of events like hackathons and win cash prizes, also.

Great college for placements.

Placements: Almost 81% of the students were placed in top companies from my branch of computer science. Coming to the packages paid for the students by the companies, the highest was 11 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Genpact, and many more companies visited our college regularly. Coming to the internships, many companies offered internship opportunities to the students and took them as full time employees. The most common roles offered for our branch were associate developer, technical support engineer, content moderator, and many more.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure was very great as it was located on the outskirts of the city in a peaceful environment with greenery all surrounded. The college also had Wi-Fi facilities for the students to access the internet on the college campus. College had all the educational labs for the practical knowledge to be useful for the students. It had a huge library with a great collection of books and journals. The college also provided hostel facilities for the students on the campus itself. College also had canteen facility for the students who came from far away.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in dealing with the doubts that were raised in the brain of the students. Faculty members were very knowledgeable as they have done their Ph.D. from top universities. The course curriculum was relevant, and made the students industry-ready. The semester exams were very hard to pass as the standard of the examinations was designed by the directors of the institution. The pass percentage for the semester exams was 40%. The teaching quality of the teachers was very straight forward which was easy to understand.

Other: The course provides students exact conditions for the industry.

Placements: The college has a good placement percentage. Especially, CSE students get placed in top companies like HCL, Wipro, Capgemini, and so on. The average package is about 5 LPA. Students also have internships based on real-time applications in the final year.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including a Central Library where we find books and magazines. We also have a canteen. Sports events are held once a month. The hostel is available within the campus with hygienic food. Wi-Fi is available around the college for free.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable about the subject. Students are very interested in showing respect towards the faculty, as they are excellent at explaining. Semesters are valuable and are conducted twice a year. Students also have industrial visits in the final year to gain practical knowledge.
