Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students are placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. P&O international is the top recruiting company in our course. Almost 10 % of the students got internships in Ottobock which is a top company. A prosthetist is the top role offered in our course.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities in our course particularly there are no labs and classrooms. Library has an ample amount of books. We don't have a hostel for our course and outsiders have to find accommodation on their own. There are no sports activities. Food quality is good in the mess.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide the best in class and the teaching quality is also the best. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough. Minimum 50% marks are required to pass one subject and minimum of 5 subjects should have this.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is M.Sc at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital better than St. Stephen's College of Nursing?
A:

St. Stephen's charitable hospital is one of the oldest in Delhi and has a history of more than 100 years. It also has College of nursing which gives out the education for undergraduate as well as post graduate courses in nursing.
On the other hand, Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College along with the famous Safdarjung hospital of delhi is a the latest entrant of 2002 in the field of education. However this college has seen rapid advancements in its ranking given out by NIRF. In addition to this, Safdarjung Hospital being a government hospital, huge stream of patients come to this Hospital and as a result the nursing staff gets a great hands on experience even while they are learning for either undergraduate studies or even for post graduate studies like MSc in nursing.
In view of the foregoing I would recommend that doing M.Sc nursing in Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College would be better than doing it in St Stephen's College of Nursing.
Best wishes to you.

Q:   Can I get into VMMC if I have scored just 60% in 10th and 50% in 12th?
    A:

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College accepts NEET UG score for the admission to MBBS courses. For getting admission at VMMC, there are no specific percentiles needed in 10th and 12th exams by the candidates. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English shall be eligible for appearing in NEET-UG to get into VMMC. However, till last year, only those candidates who studied these as main or core subjects were considered eligible for NEET.

Moreover, earlier, students who completed Class 12 or its equivalent from Open Schools or as private candidates were prohibited from taking the NEET exam; however, NMC has eliminated this restriction this year. NEET 2024 will now be open to candidates who passed their Class 12 Board exam from Open Schools. Students from open schools approved by the State Boards and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can now sit the NEET exam, according to a ruling by the Indian Supreme Court.
