Vel Tech Multi Tech Admission Process 2025

Vel Tech Multi Tech admission is based on both merit or exam scores of the candidates. Besides, Vel Tech Multi Tech considers scores in GATE, CEETA, and TANCET for admission to specific courses. Vel Tech Multi Tech offers courses at the UG and PG levels.

The college offers UG programmes for 3 years - 4 years. For programmes at PG level, the duration is 2 years.

The college is good, but the infrastructure and bus facilities are poor, and no events are conducted

Placements: My college students are placed with good packages. I think the highest package is above 20 LPA, and the average is 6 to 4 LPA, with the lowest at 2 LPA. Mahendra, TCS, and some other companies recruit from our college. The top role offered is engineering. Regarding roles, there are no replies for interviews in the 1st year. I think from the 2nd year, they can do internships/interviews.

Infrastructure: All are some good aspects, but the infrastructure is a little worse compared to other colleges. There are no direct bus facilities to college, and no other models of transport, only college buses are available, and they only run at college opening and closing times. The hostel is okay, and foods are also okay, but sports and games are poor.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, and exams are also good. Semesters are a little hard for average students, but some students are ready to write them. Industry visits are not available in some years, like the 1st year. In the 1st year. All departments have the same course and exams, from the second year onwards, they go to their respective departments.

Other: I need to take computer line jobs. Events and fests are poor in this college. If you want to study, then only choose this college.

Review of Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College,

Placements: Nearly 80% of students get placed in this course. But marks and CGPA are more important. The lowest package is 1.2 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package is 8.0 LPA. Internships are very high after 1st year, but in 1 year, it is not possible, so this college is good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available. The library is extraordinary. The quality of usage of the hostel is not good. The canteen food is good compared to other colleges. The canteen and medical rooms are available so there is no need to worry.

Faculty: Here at Vel Tech Multi Tech College, faculty members are knowledgeable. Their teaching is good and easy to understand. Industrial visits are also provided. Semester exams are easy to crack if we study what they are given in the classroom. The pass percentage is 89%.

Other: I chose this course because of the placement percentage in this course, the peaceful curriculum, etc. The mechanical engineering field is on-site work, so faculty members are ready to understand what students want. Scholarships are provided for single-windows counseling only. This course has very high recruiting possible in future because of demands.

You prefer the college for the placements.

Placements: In our course, there are 80% of students got placed. Top companies come to our course. HR and manager are roles offered in our course. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. 75% of students got a job in our course and got into top companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has some greenery, projectors in classrooms, limited AC in labs, and ethernet connections. Hostel rooms have individual Wi-Fi, and the food is decent with non-veg served 6 days a week. But sports facilities are limited. Overall, it's okay.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Exams are easy and some subjects are tough. The pass percentage is 90% of students who can pass the exams. Students can take a relevant subject to learn in the course so it can be helpful.

Other: I prefer IT field because it is easy for me. Our college sometimes conducts events.

It has good placements, interactive teaching, regular events, and a balanced syllabus structure.

Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech IT (2nd year) at Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College, Avadi. The placement opportunities in our college are truly impressive. More than 100 top companies visited the campus this year. In our department alone, a majority of students got placed in reputed companies like Zoho, Infosys, CTS, TCS, Capgemini, Mu Sigma, and Tech Mahindra. Placement training starts from the 2nd year itself, and in the 3rd year, we get training from industry experts, and the actual placement process begins by then. The placement cell is very active and supportive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good, but there are some network issues as the college is located in a town. However, Wi-Fi is available inside the labs for academic purposes. Classrooms are neat, and each department has its own seminar hall. There are multiple labs, while some need improvement, but many are well-maintained. I do not know much about the hostel, but from what I have heard, it is okay and safe. For day scholars, there are 2-3 canteens, and the food is good. Sports and games are encouraged. Overall, I feel satisfied with facilities and opportunities provided by the college.

Faculty: As for myself, most of the faculty members are really helpful and supportive. They clear our doubts whenever needed. The teaching methods are not limited to just blackboard lectures. We also have interactive sessions like PowerPoint presentations, roleplays, quizzes, and puzzle tests at the end of each semester. The course curriculum is well-structured, not too heavy and not too light, just balanced. Since the college is autonomous, semester exams are relatively manageable. The pass percentage is quite high. There are very few arrears.

Other: The reason I chose IT is that I genuinely love this field. Even though debugging errors in code can be frustrating at times, the overall process is enjoyable for me and gives a sense of satisfaction. It is something I truly like doing. I joined this college through counselling. The college conducts events frequently, including technical workshops, guest lectures (even on future business/startup ideas), and both technical and non-technical events. Cultural events are also held, though not too grand. But that's expected in most engineering colleges. Still, it's enjoyable to participate or watch.

Dissatisfied because of some faculty members.

Placements: I don't know about the placement of the passed outs but I heard that the package is average. There are some great companies like Wipro, TCS, Zoho, cognizant, amazon, Capgemini, Infosys, IBM, Teach Mahindra, Accenture, Google, and more. I don't know about the percentage of internship students as I am in my first year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel facilities are above good. The food in the canteen and mess are also great. Medical facilities are available, sports facilities are available but the staff doesn't allow students to spend time in sports and entertainment.

Faculty: Inside the department, every staff member is a qualified and knowledgeable person. The curriculum is great but the students never get enough time to prepare for semester exams. The teaching quality in the first year is average and I don't know about the department staff. The pass percentage is 60%.

Other: I wanted to select CSE but after many struggles, I chose ECE as ECE is the widest and most promising department. Gives more job opportunities than other courses as most of the jobs are overtaken by AI these days.

Placements: Placed percentage: 50% The highest package: 12 LPA The lowest package: 3.3 LPA Average package: 4 LPA Top recruiting companies: TCS, CTS, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, ZOHO, BNY MELLON, KARR TECHNOLOGY Internship percentage offered: 10% Roles offered: Software Developer, Tester, System Engineer, Project Manager

Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are available like lab, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and seminar hall, but all of them were poor in quality of the service provided for all the courses. I am a day scholar, but the hostel facilities and the quality of the food they provide are below average. Only basic medical service is available.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and the subjects were allocated based on their experience and value they add to the courses. We can’t expect spoon-feeding from the teachers. The curriculum is relevant to the course and has a better outcome and a positive effect on the system. Even the semester exams are difficult due to the short duration of preparation.
