Admissions to to the MTech and MCA courses at the VAST - Vidya Academy Of Science And Technology are based on the scores obtained in graduation.     VAST is a good college when compared to other engineering colleges in the Thrissur district.
    Placements: More than 200 students get placed on CRD every year with a package that ranges from 2-8 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are IBM, UST Global, Soti, Innovate, Infosys, Movate, etc. Many students are placed as junior software engineers. Students also got internships with a stipend starting from 2 LPA.
    Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in the hostel and campus. In the hostel, Wi-Fi is only available in the study hall and can be accessed in the room for paying extra fee. It provides a good facility for labs, and it has helpful lab assistants. Overall, the campus infrastructure, including labs, library, and classrooms, is excellent.
    Faculty: Faculty members are okay. The computer science department is the best for getting placed. Some teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some are not. They are strict enough and provide regular teaching. Overall, the pass percentage is good in the computer science department.

    Vidya -vast My Campus Review .
    Placements: There is a placement cell in our college that provides guidance and trains students for placements. Companies like TCS, SOTI, Chegg, Sutherland, and IBS visit the college every year. The highest package last year was 14 Lacs, and the average package is 3.5 Lacs per annum.
    Infrastructure: The college is very clean and neat, and there is a Nashatharavanam made for relaxing students. The campus includes a canteen and cafeteria, and there are separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. There is also a dispensary in our college. Meals are provided to hostel students at noon and night.
    Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified, with most having Ph.D. degrees, and they are well-educated with M.Tech degrees. The teachers are supportive and help students with their doubts. Computer Science is considered an easier branch compared to others, and there are two internal exams and one university exam each semester.
    Other: I chose Computer Science because of my interest in the field. The course curriculum should include the latest technology in growing Computer Science. There is an Arts and Tech fest conducted every year, and a scholarship function is held to award outstanding students.

    Vidya : Our Pride The joyous pursuit of career.
    Placements: Almost more than 50 percent of students get placed in my course as it is growing in demand. The number of students getting placed are really high. The top recruiters coming to our college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Sutherland, Amazon, IBM, Google etc. With our course, one could pursue any IT related field they like such as front end developed, back end developed, full sack developed, cyber security, Cloud engineer, software engineer etc. And the job options are really endless. The highest pachage offered is 20 LPA and the lowest will be 5 LPA and the average would be between 6-8 LPA.
    Infrastructure: In our college, WI-FI is absent, but the network is really great. The college provides 2 canteens for students' nourishment provided with variety of food items and drinks. Outside the college campus, there are restaurants available too. The college has great infrastructure as well as two separate huge and spacious hostels for the students who are not day scholars with sufficient room space and great food. The college has a dispensary to treat sick students as well as faculty members. The college also has a big playground to conduct sports meet and such.
    Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and provides us with great knowledge and insight into the particular topic they are teaching the students. They are really helpful and friendly. Some of the teachers have PhDs. The quality of teaching is really great. The course curriculum is really relevant. It really makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are quite difficult. Well the pass percent above is 85.
    Other: I choose this course because as we know the technology is getting advanced day by day so I discover that job opportunities will be really great. The course provides us with skills and knowledge for us to pursue career we want. I suggest more practical sessions are also provided.

    VAST is vast in everything.
    Placements: I am still undergoing this course. I have yet to get the placements. When I first joined the college, the principal told me that placement opportunities were higher here compared to other colleges. Around 300 to 400 companies would come for interviews per year.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are very advanced. The canteen, classrooms, washrooms, and auditorium are all very well maintained. The food quality is at its highest when everything is maintained cleanly. The foods prepared here are healthier and more nutritious.
    Faculty: The teaching quality is of a high level. Every teacher helps the students who are weaker in academics. The curriculum needs to be changed since its's 2019 and we need new technology studies-related topics for the syllabus. The semester exams are not that difficult. Its just that we need to prepare for it properly.
    Other: Scholarships are provided to certain students who show great excellence in academics. I personally chose this course due to its higher job opportunities.

    Great faculty members and good infrastructure but lack of college programs and events.
    Placements: I think they offer a decent placements but there are no high level companies visiting. There are so many startup companies who offer an annual salary of 10000 or below. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, etc. Internships are not arranged by the college. You must find and do it on your own. I don't know about the top roles there.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great and the college campus is good in every way. The labs are decent and there is a Wi-Fi available. The classrooms are good, but in the summer season, you will feel a lack of coolness. Food available in the mess is good and yummy. You will get addicted to it.
    Faculty: The faculty members are well trained and experienced. They all have a very good behaviour and a great character. They may look after you like their on children. Their teaching quality is also superb. The semester exams are not so difficult. The passing percentage is 40% out of 100, excluding the internals.
    Other: Actually Vdya was not my first priority as I got low marks in +2 and had no choice or any other option but to join here. I didn’t get any other college. Therefore, I joined here through the management. And now I have completed my second semester. There are no major issues which I found in this college. You should give it a chance.

    Good faculty members, a happy atmosphere, and good lab facilities.
    Placements: About 40% of students are placed in my branch for the 2019–2023 batch. The placement desk is available for us now. Federal Bank, TCS, and Infosys are the top companies that recruit us. There are many other companies that recruit students with a good salary scale. The college faculties are really helpful for all our needs. I'm really happy to say that I'm a student at Vidya College.
    Infrastructure: The food and accommodations in the hostel are of high quality. Wi-Fi is also available for hostel students. A wonderful library is there for us. All the facilities are of high quality. The lab facilities and the lab areas are very good and well maintained. It really enhances the students achievements.
    Faculty: Faculty members are highly efficient, and they all have the potential to guide us. Very good teacher, and their teaching quality is also appreciable. Different courses, like add-on courses, honors, and minors, are provided here for the extra benefit of students.
    Other: I love my batch of students, because of the bond and the connection.
