Good faculty members, a happy atmosphere, and good lab facilities.
Placements: About 40% of students are placed in my branch for the 2019–2023 batch. The placement desk is available for us now. Federal Bank, TCS, and Infosys are the top companies that recruit us. There are many other companies that recruit students with a good salary scale. The college faculties are really helpful for all our needs. I'm really happy to say that I'm a student at Vidya College.
Infrastructure: The food and accommodations in the hostel are of high quality. Wi-Fi is also available for hostel students. A wonderful library is there for us. All the facilities are of high quality. The lab facilities and the lab areas are very good and well maintained. It really enhances the students achievements.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly efficient, and they all have the potential to guide us. Very good teacher, and their teaching quality is also appreciable. Different courses, like add-on courses, honors, and minors, are provided here for the extra benefit of students.
Other: I love my batch of students, because of the bond and the connection.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: Only 25% of students were placed. The highest package was 1.5 LPA, the average package was 1.25 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.2 LPA. Most of the students were placed in IT companies. The top role offered is site engineer. Many other offers such as AutoCAD draughtsman, junior site engineer, etc., were offered.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are good. Other facilities are quite okay. The food available in the canteen is quite good. Sports facilities are extremely good. Medical facilities are good. The college has an extremely good ambiance. The teachers are very supportive.
Faculty: The teachers are doing well. Some teachers have good knowledge of their subject. They could use a mic for more audible classes. The curriculum could be more practical-based. There is a lack of practical knowledge. Semester exams were okay. Providing printed notes will be more helpful. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I liked drawing. More practical knowledge must be provided. More extracurricular activities must be conducted.

Review of VAST - Vidya Academy Of Science And Technology.
Placements: An average of 40% of the students got placements. Almost 70% of the students got placements in popular companies like TCS, Bosch, etc. Almost 30% of the students got internships in the above-mentioned companies. Roles that companies offer are site engineers and office works.
Infrastructure: The total infrastructure of our campus is awesome, with a natural and peaceful environment. There are enough facilities for students to study and improve. Medical and canteen facilities are neat and clean, and the service on the campus is very good and caring.
Faculty: Teachers on the whole campus are highly educated and well-experienced, which is very helpful for students to improve. Our college exams become very easy by the teaching skills of the teachers. An average of 80% is the pass percentage obtained in all years.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like to become a civil engineer. In this course, we can study the structure of buildings and the materials in our nature. The campus experience is very good that I had enjoyed a lot by fests, sports and arts conducted.

It is one of the best self-financing colleges in Thrissur.
Placements: Placements in our core civil engineering were very less, but there were IT companies recruitments. Off-campus interviews were also supported by the college making provision for travelling for interested students. Placement cell is available for support at all times. They even communicate with students after completion of college.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure and facilities were good, and food was also good. Lab facilities and other infrastructure facilities were adequate. Medical facilities are also available when in need. Sports are given a fair amount of importance. Canteen food quality is also good. Lab facilities are adequate and good.
Faculty: Teachers were good, and portions were completed on time. Some teachers even make time for students who struggle with academics by staying back after college hours. Almost all teachers are well-qualified to handle the subjects.
Other: Events and fests are conducted. The physical education department is good and supportive. It is one of the first KTU batches, which was difficult at first, but it got better eventually.

Good college with good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is not bad, but fewer core companies visit for recruitment. Most of the companies coming for recruitment are from the IT sector. The highest salary offered was 3.4 LPA. Industrial visits are conducted instead of internships. If the students want to undertake the internship, then it is at their own risk.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms and labs are completely furnished with the right type of equipment. The workshops are well-maintained. The quality of the food available in both the canteen and cafeteria is good. The college does offer games like football and cricket. They even offer basketball and yoga.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They mainly use the traditional method of lecturing as well as power point presentations. Every year, industry visits are organised. But students have to find their own internships. The course curriculum is useful which is maintained and set by APJKTU.
Other: The college does host a large variety of fests and cultural festivities that are not only technical but also traditional. The campus surroundings are peaceful.

This is a good college for academics and cultural activities.
Placements: Placement percentage is not 100%, but 50-60% of the students will get placed by the companies every year. Mainly IT companies visit the college for recruitment. Students who have coding background can get into these companies. TCS is the mass recruiter. The placement cell is supportive, and they do conduct mock interviews to prepare students for interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with one main building and a new block which houses the central library. The library is spacious and houses thousands of books. The whole campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are properly furnished. The workshops and labs are well-equipped with all the proper machines and apparatuses.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are qualified and experienced. Most of them are PhD holders in their respective fields. Especially, the civil department is great to be a part of where the faculty members help in incubating new ideas. The curriculum is a little tough which is set by APJKTU.
Other: The campus crowd is friendly. Every year, they conduct the tech fest, cultural fests, and many extracurricular activities. The management does provide scholarships to students who are underprivileged and those who excel in their studies.

Am satisfied with all facilities and faculty members.
Placements: There were good num of companies. Placements were done in a reasonable manner. All students were happy with their placements. Almost 50 % of students got campus selection. Every student got internship from college. There is a placement cell in our college. We have at least one hour as placement hour.
Infrastructure: We have a digital library. All the text books are available there. Classrooms are well maintained and are ideally designed for students according to their comfort. We have a dispensary. A doctor visits the college once in a week. Facility of a nurse is always available.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. Good quality of teaching. They have the correct knowledge of the subject they are teaching. Teachers give proper notes which are very helpful for us. Every point that we use in our future life were taught. We were well trained under teacher.
Other: Arts and tech fest were conducted every year. We have a beautiful campus.

Placements: Vidya Engineering College gives more placements to their students compared to other colleges. Vidya has good placement cell for providing training to students compared to other branches. The placements in civil are comparatively less more than 70 percent of the students are getting placed every year. Vidya is providing an average salary of Rs. 25000 per month. Infrastructure: Vidya has a good quality of infrastructure. The main attractions of the college are that it has a good library. The hostel rooms are also not bad. The food provided in the college canteen is at a reasonable price. The quality of the food is average. Vidya has a well-equipped lab and medical facilities. In case of sports and games, Vidya College is average.
Faculty: The faculty in Vidya College is of high quality for providing quality education. Most of our faculty members are post graduated from highly reputed institutions like IIT, NIT etc. The college is providing many industrial visit opportunities for the effective gaining of knowledge of students regarding their respective courses.
Other: Vidya is conducting tech fest every year named Vyvidh. The students get opportunities to explore their technical abilities through this event. Vidya is also providing many scholarships for their students.
