B.A LLB - Batch of 2023
4.4
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Affordable law college with good discipline and basic facilities.
Placements: In our batch, placement opportunities were limited as most law students preferred to prepare for competitive exams or go for private practice. However, the college helped us find internships in local courts, NGOs, and some law firms. A few students interned at the District Court and firms in Jaipur. There was no official placement data for packages, but the internship experience was helpful in understanding real legal work. Campus placements were rare, but guidance was provided if students were proactive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the LL.B. course is quite satisfactory. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with Smart boards and whiteboards for better learning. The library has a good collection of legal books, case laws, and journals that support academic study, though regular updates would be helpful. The college offers Wi-Fi access, but the speed is average. There was no dedicated moot court hall, but some practical sessions were arranged in classrooms. The hostel facilities were basic-rooms were clean, but not very modern. The food served in the mess was simple but hygienic. There were limited sports and medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive. Most of them hold postgraduate or Ph.D. degrees in law and explain legal concepts in a simplified and practical manner. The teaching method was mainly classroom-based, with some emphasis on case studies and current legal updates. The curriculum follows the guidelines of the University of Rajasthan and covers core legal subjects like Institutional Law, Criminal Law, and Contract Law. Exams are conducted semester-wise and include both written theory papers and viva voce. Internal assessments like assignments and presentations are also part of the evaluation. Overall, the academic structure was balanced and helped build a good education.
Other: Vinayak Law College was a good choice for students who were looking for an affordable and disciplined law education in a semi-urban or rural setting. The atmosphere is peaceful and focused on academics. While there were limited placement opportunities and extra-curricular exposure, the college does provide support for internships and legal awareness programs. Attendance was taken seriously, and students were expected to maintain discipline. If someone was self-motivated and looking to prepare for judiciary or government exams, this college offers a decent platform. However, more focus on moot courts, guest lectures, and industry exposure would make the experience even better.
