The TS LAWCET Result 2026 will be announced on June 5, 2026 on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their TS LAWCET scorecards on lawcet.tgche.ac.in. To check the result, TS LAWCET hall ticket number and the candidate's date of birth details will be required. The result will be evaluated based on the TS LAWCET 2026 final answer key.

How to check TS LAWCET Result 2026?

The TSLAWCET Exam will be conducted on the scheduled date. After a few days of the exam, candidates can check their TS LAWCET 2026 results using the process given below. 

  1. Visit the official website of the exam - lawcet.tgche.ac.in.
  2. Click on the Rank Card tab, and the result login page will open up.
  3. Enter the hall ticket number and date of birth.
  4. The scorecard mentioning the qualifying status will appear on the screen.

TS LAWCET Qualifying Criteria 2026

The TS LAWCET 2026 Qualifying Criteria decides who can take part in the counselling and admission process for law courses in Telangana. You must score the minimum marks set by the exam authority to qualify.

Category  Minimum qualifying marks
General/ OBC category Candidates need to secure at least 35% i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks. 
SC/ ST/ PWD category  No minimum marks required. Candidates appearing for the entrance exam will be eligible for admission. 

Your rank in the TS LAWCET 2026 merit list depends on the marks you get in the test. If two candidates get the same total marks, the tie is broken using these rules:

  1. Marks in Part C (Aptitude for the Study of Law) are checked first.
  2. If still same, marks in Part B (Current Affairs) are compared.
  3. If tie continues, the older candidate will be given preference.

Only candidates who meet the qualifying criteria will be shortlisted for the TS LAWCET 2026 counselling and seat allotment process.

If you are not able to download the TS LAWCET hall ticket through a particular device, you need to use another device to do so. If you fail to download the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET hall ticket event after using the methods, you need to contact the Telangana State Admission Council (TSCHE) by phone or by email. TS LAWCET Result 2026: Tie-Breaking Method

TSCHE will prepare the rank list of TS LAWCET 2026 based on results, and in case there is a tie in ranks of two or more candidates, then the following methods will be applied to resolve it:

  1. The candidate who has secured the highest marks in the Aptitude for the Study of Law section will be given preference
  2. If the tie persists, candidates with the highest scores in the Current Affairs section will be given preference
  3. If the tie still persists, then the candidate older in age will be given preference.

Candidates have to download their rank card from the official website of TSCHE only. However, in case of any difficulty in downloading the rank card, the candidates are advised to contact the helpdesk on the following numbers:

TS LAWCET 2026 Results & Shortlisting for Counselling

TS LAWCET 2026 results will be released online on the official website lawcet.tsche.ac.in. You just need to enter your hall ticket number and date of birth to see your result. The scorecard will show your marks, rank, and whether you qualified or not. For general category students, you must score at least 35% (42 marks out of 120) to pass. SC and ST candidates don’t have any fixed minimum marks. If you qualify, you can take part in the counselling process.

After the results come out, make sure you download your TS LAWCET 2026 Rank Card. It’s very important for counselling and admission purposes. The rank card includes your name, roll number, marks, rank, category, and qualifying status. The shortlisting for counselling depends mainly on your rank. A higher rank gives you a better chance of getting into your desired college. If two candidates get the same marks, then marks in Part C (Law Aptitude) are checked first, then Part B (Current Affairs). If still the same, the older candidate will be given preference.

Counselling for TS LAWCET 2026 happens step by step. First, you need to register online and pay the counselling fee. After that, your certificates will be verified either online or at the help center. Then you can select your preferred colleges and courses through web options. Seats are allotted based on your rank, category, and the options you choose. Once you get a seat, you must report to that college to confirm your admission; otherwise, your seat may get cancelled.

The last date to fill out the TSLAWCET application form without a late fee WAS April 10, 2026. Earlier, the deadline was April 1, 2026. Candidates can still fill out the application form till May 13 (by paying late fee).

To be eligible to appear for the TS LAWCET exam, there is no UPPER Age limit. However, for the 3-year LLB course, the candidate must have cleared graduation or must be in the final year of graduation.
