Honest review of VNR VJIET.

Placements: 85 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package offered is 9.5LPA to 28 LPA and the average package is 5.50 LPA to 7.2 LPA. The lowest package is 3.36 LPA. Google, Amazon, Atlassian, JPMC, and Oracle are the top recruiting companies. 30 percent of students secured internships in their third year. Top internship providers are JPMC, Oracle, Deloitte, Microsoft, and Amazon. Top roles offered are Data Science Trainee, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, and AI/ ML Engineer.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good. There is proper Wi-Fi available in the labs and classrooms. There is also a library open till 8:00 PM. There is also a digital library. The facilities in the college hostel are also very good. The quality of food available in the hostel is excellent but the taste is average. Canteen also serves quality food. There is also a doctor available in the sports block, and many sports are available.

Faculty: The faculty here are really helpful and knowledgeable. They guide us through everything and help clear our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant but we have to study externally about any subject we are interested in to gain industrial knowledge. Semester exams are not very difficult they are average. The pass percentage is between 75 percent and 85 percent.

Other: I chose a specialisation in Data Science as it is currently trending and I aim to become a Data Analyst. A large portion of companies visiting the campus hire for SDE roles rather than pure Data Scientist roles. This is one thing I wish would change. Cultural events also occur, and we enjoy them a lot. There are many clubs we can join to improve connections and also have a lot of fun.

VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology - Future setter of Life.

Placements: Almost all students get placed. Around 99 percent of the eligible students get placed. The lowest package could be around 4 LPA, and the highest package was from Rubrics, and it was 91 LPA. Almost all companies across the world are trying to come for placements.

Infrastructure: Every department will have its own classes and labs. Wi-Fi is available in every class separately, and LAN is provided for the systems in labs. Hostel has 2 and 3 sharing rooms with a wide space. A canteen is available even in the hostel.

Faculty: There are almost 700-800 faculty members in the college. Every faculty member is a graduate, and many of them hold PhDs in many fields. Every person is knowledgeable. Course curriculum is adapted according to the market trends and is changed every 3 years. Semester exams are not that difficult as the faculty explains the subjects clearly, and they also give important questions.

Good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Nearly 75% students got placed, and in my course, nearly 70% got placed. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Top companies are Tata, DRDO, Bluestar, and Daikin. Usually, top companies visit the college during the placement season and top students are selected.

Infrastructure: Superb infrastructure and departmental classes and laboratories, the quality of the hostel and food is also good. The medical facilities are also available for the injured or medically ill students, and sports and games also happen regularly.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and make us industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The curriculum is also so relevant that even a duller student is able to get the topics in the syllabus. The simple structure is maintained in the syllabus keeping in the view for every students.

Other: The best thing about this course is that I love learning about machines and their functions.

Placements: The placements here in recent times have been mid. VNR remains one of the top-tier 2 choices in Hyderabad. For the 2025 passing-out batch, the scene has been surprisingly resilient. Around 82% of students have already secured placements. If you're in CSE, IT, or the AI/ML branches, you're in a very safe spot provided you've kept your CGPA decent.

Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, the campus is spread over 23 acres. It is a decent college in the state. The labs aren't just for show; they are well-maintained and stocked with high-end hardware. For CSE/IT, the systems are updated, and for core branches like ECE or Mechanical, there are specialised labs (like the VLSI or Automobile labs) that actually let you get your hands dirty.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced, a bit on and off with the theoretical knowledge. The teaching staff is generally highly qualified, with a large number of professors holding PhD degrees from reputed institutions like IITs and NITs. Most lecturers are approachable, especially if you show interest in research or projects.

Other: I chose this college based on its reputation, recent trends, EAMCET rank, etc.

Nice faculty, and there are highly qualified professionals.

Placements: 60 percent of students can be placed in our course. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Flipkart, Amazon, etc., recruit. 20 percent of students got internships in our course at Infosys and Amazon. Artificial intelligence engineer and machine learning engineer roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities are okay, not bad, and the infrastructure available for our course/department contains Wi-Fi only for faculty, not for the students, and labs are excellent. There are different kinds of books that are useful for students. Classrooms and labs are good. The facilities in the hostel are okay. The quality of the food in the mess is okay, medical facilities are also okay, and sports and games are very limited.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful to students, and they are highly qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. The curriculum in the college makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are not very difficult. 80 percent of the students have passed.

Other: I chose it because the upcoming years will depend only on Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. In my course, the library system is better, and the management can improve the labs. Events and festivals are held once a year. The campus surroundings look good.

The campus is good, also placements.

Placements: The highest package is 19 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA so far. Placement season starts from your 4th year and lasts till you get a job, but once you are placed in any company, you won't be given the chance to attend for other companies expect for the ones whose package is double the one you got.

Infrastructure: Not bad, I would say, it's quite a big campus with different blocks and playgrounds. The library is huge, and there are many books in it. Wi-Fi is available in every class (almost). Canteen and mess food is also good. I don't know about the hostel, but my friend said it's okay.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, but not totally. There are core subjects that you have to learn, which will be useful for getting a job, and with those, there are a few extra subjects that I don't really know the purpose of, though, but it's better that they've included them.
