I was satisfied with the best faculty and placements for our course.

Placements: Almost 70% of our course students had campus placements in my graduation year (2021). The salary packages were generally satisfying, with the highest offer reaching 7 LPA and the lowest around 3 LPA, averaging about 4 LPA. Leading companies like Being, Civitas Innovation, and Larsen and Toubro were among the top recruiters. About 80% of students in our course completed their placement. Some of the main roles involved mechanical system design and testing.

Infrastructure: The college provided good facilities. It includes a spacious library, free Wi-Fi points, an assembly hall, seminar rooms, project workstations, and a waiting lounge within an indoor setup. Two categories of hostels were offered to the students: air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. Canteen and mess food were delicious and reasonably priced. Medical assistance was readily available from a fully qualified doctor in the college medical room. There was no shortage of opportunities for physical activities, whether indoor or outdoor sports. Moreover, a sports meet was conducted every weekend.

Faculty: Faculty members are throughout the academic environment. They showcase their teaching skills. They possess high qualifications and extensive experience in their respective fields. They are always available to address any questions or concerns that students may have. Our curriculum is particularly relevant. It prepares a diverse range of students to be industry-ready and for employment opportunities. Semester exams are not tough. But attending classes regularly is essential for grasping the concepts thoroughly. Each year, about 70 percent of students pass, especially within our course.

Other: I chose this course because it offered excellent opportunities and range of options for a career, along with competitive salary packages. All of this aligned with my interests. I hope to see improvements in the laboratory standards. This would be beneficial. As well as more industrial visits to help students gain practical experience. The various activities such as musical nights, farewell parties, freshers' gatherings, tours, concerts, and festivals. They were fantastic in addition to the college experience.

The placements were excellent for our course and others.

Placements: 75.8% of students got placed in college placements in various companies. The highest package was 6 LPA, the average package was 4 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA from our course. The top-most recruiting companies, like Deloitte, TCS, Foxconn, and Coulryt, were on the list. Almost 65% of students got their internship certificates in various companies, like IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, Deloitte, etc. The top roles were like circuit designer and manufacturing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was great, and the college was spread across 40 acres of land. It had facilities like separate blocks for different branches of students, AC classrooms, a library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, ventilated classrooms, bus transportation, project labs, an auditorium, etc. The hostel management provided many good facilities like a neat and hygienic environment in the rooms, tasty food in the mess and canteen at reasonable prices. The sports and games were unlimited in the college, and the medical facilities were available the entire day, with professional doctors and an ambulance facility.

Faculty: The teaching staff was really doing an excellent job in terms of teaching, and the quality of teaching was excellent, with a clear way of explaining the concepts. The teachers were very knowledgeable and highly qualified in their course, and also had done their PhDs. Our course curriculum was doing an excellent job by making many students industry-ready. The semester exams were not difficult, we had to understand the concepts clearly to pass the exam. The pass percentage was around 85%.

Other: I chose this course because it is the best platform to improve my knowledge. Things like promoting and marketing the course will be great, so that many new students will come. The refreshment activities like fests, farewells, freshers crowd meetings, tours, concerts, festivals, etc., were fun in the college.

Placements: Placements at Vignan VNR are quite good compared to many colleges. Around 75-80% of students get placed, with top packages touching 10-12 LPA, average salaries around 4-5 LPA, and the lowest offers near 2.5 LPA. Big recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, and product-based firms like Amazon and Deloitte. Internships are also fairly common, mostly with IT, software, and core engineering firms. Roles range from software developer, system engineer, and analyst to trainee engineer and project associate.

Infrastructure: The college has modern classrooms, good labs, Wi-Fi, and a digital library. Hostels are decent, clean, and safe, though mess food is average (typical hostel food vibe). Other: I chose engineering here for the placement opportunities and practical learning. The best part is exposure to coding, projects, and industry-oriented training. Things that can improve, hostel food and more core-company tie-ups.
