Scholar and Achiever Scholarship for all UG and PG Programs (except for MBBS, BDS, B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Nursing-UNB, MTech/ME, UG / PG Medical / Dental / Super Speciality, UG/PG programs of TAPMI (Manipal / Bengaluru), MAHE Bengaluru: DOC,DPP,DLHS,MLS,SMI programs), UG /
PG programs offered by MTMC).
The minimum intake of the program MUST be 10 and minimum no. of Admissions MUST be 5 (in the year of admission).
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
UG program: 80% (as per selection criteria) in 10+2 from a recognized Board.
PG program: 70% aggregate in UG from a recognized University.
For the UG and PG Programs with Manipal Entrance Test (MET), MET Rank will be used for the allotment of Scholarship provided the candidate satisfies the above mentioned minimum eligibility criteria for Scholarship.
Scholar category:
Scholar Scholarships constitutes 5% of the GENERAL category intake for each branch / program and is applicable for the entire program duration, starting 1st year of the program.
Achiever category:
Achiever Scholarship constitutes 5% of the GENERAL category intake for each branch / program is applicable at the beginning of 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year and 5th year based on the annual academic performance in the immediate previous year i.e. 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year depending on the Program duration.
Merit Scholarship for Children of MAHE Manipal Alumni
(Except for PG Medical / Dental, Super Specialty programs)
-Scholarship Guidelines:
• Applicable for Students admitted under GENERAL category only
• The candidate is required go through the admission process specified for each program and there are NO preferential / reserved seats for children of MAHE Manipal Alumni.
• The fee waiver is NOT applicable to PG Medical / Dental, Super specialty Programs.
- Eligibility Requirements
o Under Graduate (UG) program: 80 % aggregate (as per admission criteria) in 12th.
o Post Graduate (PG) program: 70 % aggregate in Under Graduate (UG).
• Candidate’s Father / Mother Should have studied & graduated in UG program (minimum 3 year’s) / PG program (minimum 2 years) / Super specialty (minimum 2 years) / PhD program (including part time) from any one of MAHE Manipal Institutions.
• Scholarship would be provided to maximum of 2 children's only

ITC Hotels Ltd has also instituted scholarship worth Rs. 3.5 lakhs to the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) students at Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), excelling in operational subjects and for the best all round graduating students.

Placements: There was no placement for the Masters course in the college, but companies gave us good recognition for offering well-paid jobs. Hotel Management students got amazing opportunities through college placement. Internship offers from various recognized hospitals for our course were great. We gained good experience during our internship. The college had tie-ups with many hospitals, so finding internships was not a difficult task; however, no incentives were given to the interns.
Placements: All students who decide to avail of placement got placed. Over 50 companies come to hire students which ensures all students get placed, and companies are of various sectors and help students explore a wide range of fields other than hospitality. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IHCL, IHG, Oberoi, Taj, and Marriott. All of them hired a major chunk of students. All students received internships. Management traine...
Placements: Almost 90% of students who opted for placement were placed, with the highest package being 9 lakhs and the lowest being 6 lakhs. The average package was 6.7 lakhs. Several companies from various sectors come for placement, which ensures that almost everyone gets placed. The biggest recruiters are ITC, Taj, Marriott, and Oberoi. Everyone gets an internship as it is part of the course. Students can find an internship themselves or through the college. The top roles are management trainees.
Placements: Approximately 80% of the students were placed. Salary packages provided were also good; the lowest was ₹3 LPA and the highest was ₹12 LPA. Top recruiters included Marriott, ITC Hotels, Taj Hotels, Hyatt, Accor Hotels, Oberoi Group, Leela Palace Hotels and Resorts. 100% of students secured internships.
Placements: I graduated from WGSHA, Manipal's B.A. Culinary arts programme. My batch of 182 students had 70–95% placements, with top recruiters like Hyatt, Marriott, ITC, etc. The internship programme is great; you can opt for abroad too and also by yourself.
Placements: Our college is very popular. Our college has a 90% placements record in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel, ITC Group of Hotels, etc. In this course, internship facilities are available. Top roles like Food Stylist, Chef, and so on.
The total tuition fee to pursue BA at WGSHA equals to INR 7.9 lakh. Moreover, students who get position offer letters are required to pay a one-time fee. Interested students can refer to the below table to know other fee components:
