Disappointed with this college.

Placements: There is no placement available in this college. Those who want to take admission in this college just for placement then forget about it. This college will not even help you to get your marksheet from the University after completing the course. So it's better not to take admission for placements.

Infrastructure: There is only a library. Infrastructure is poor. Very bad facilities are being provided to the students. The infrastructure is so bad that they don't even provide a good hygienic toilet to the students which is a basic need and right of the students. Classrooms are okay.

Faculty: Only few teachers are good at teaching. But rest of the teachers don't even care for students, they don't even have basic knowledge of how to teach. They are like machines who come to the class and give lectures from the book like a machine and I think they don't even know what they are teaching.

Other: No extracurricular activities, they just want to save money.

Placements: Minimum of 50%students are placed in course the highest package offered by college is to be 5-6 LPA Average package will be 3-3.5lpa Top recruiting companies for our course is amazon, flipkart, indigo, reliance communications 70%internship from our course Job roles are accountant, data entry clerk and consultant.

Infrastructure: Campus features are 7acres Wi-Fi, air conditioned classrooms, auditorium, conference hall, computer lab and library and also good for sports Hostel facilities are only available for boys and alloted strictly on merit basis Hostel feels was also very less it take s only 32k for 3years of duration and food quality is decent .

Faculty: Yes teachers are helpful and well educated and qualified and knowledgeable and they teach very frequently and they clear all doubts. Yes course curriculum are relevant and students industry are ready Semester exams are moderate and level and pass percentage is high of 95%.

Other: They provide u sports facilities like cricket, basketball and football Their infrastructure should be better or improve Events, fest, campus crowd are decent.

If you want to succeed in life, choose Guwahati Commerce College.

Placements: Around 60% of students were placed in our course. The lowest package offered was around 7 LPA and the highest was 12-13 Lac per annum. The top recruiting company was Kotak which hires students for their financial work. Around 35-40% of students got internships from our course. The top roles offered were the position of Bank Manager and Supervisor.

Infrastructure: We have good hostel facilities and the charges for a hostel are very affordable. Our college provides Wi-Fi with good internet speed. The food available in our hostel is not that good but it is okay and we have college teams for each sport. Medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Our professors are very educated. Also, they are very intelligent and very intellectual. They are always there if we have any doubts. Their Teaching methods are very different yet interesting. And yes, this curriculum is relevant as it teaches you accountancy which is required in most of the financial work.

Other: In Assam, Guwahati commerce College is the best college and it is located near my house. So it's easy for me to commute. A few things which could have been better were the food provided in Mess. Rest, everything is great.

The practical choice for accounting: Good placements but needs better engagement.

Placements: It's about more than 50 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package offered is more likely to vary from 3 LPA to 5 LPA and the lowest can be decent around 1.2 LPA. There are some well-known recruiting companies for my course like Tata Motors, Puma, Bajaj Finance, Muthoot, etc. A good percentage of interested students get their internships easily. The top roles offered for my course are junior account.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good compared to other colleges with well-organised classrooms and Wi-Fi facilities. There is a well-organised library with a full stock of knowledge regarding every field in this stream. There is no hostel facility but there is a decent canteen for students to get beverages. The medical facilities are also good. I believe there is a lot of development needed in the college campus design and the canteen infrastructure along with regular sports and games schedules.

Faculty: The teaching quality is decent. They are knowledgeable but the teaching quality is not that good. The co-curriculars are relevant and do make students industry-ready. The college exams are engaging and come under strict supervision which can be challenging for many students to improve themselves.

Other: I chose this course as I want to specialise in accounting and have a dream of becoming a CA. I believe the teaching quality of the teachers and the campus infrastructure could improve a little. If possible there should be more options available in the canteen menu. Events and fests should be held more occasionally with clear guidelines under the surveillance of teachers who are well organised and truly supportive of students regarding scholarships.
