XIME Bangalore Hosts B-Plan Competition
December 12, 2022: On December 13 and 14, XIME Bengaluru held a B-Plan competition at their campus in Electronic City. 106 teams have signed up for the contest overall. There were three rounds of the competition.
- For the first round, which was held virtually, each team had to submit a five-minute video showcasing their business strategy. The "Unstop" virtual platform was used to run this contest online. The top 25 teams were picked from a field of 106 teams, and six of those teams were from the ISBR PGDM programme and four were from the ISBR MBA programme.
- Offline B-Plan pitches were made to the judging panel in the second round. On 12 Dec' 22, this round was conducted on the XIME campus. The panel included a number of well-known industry figures. Nine teams made it to the competition's final round out of the 25 teams chosen in the first round. These nine teams consisted of five teams from each of XIME, GITAM, CMS, and JAIN, as well as four teams from ISBR Business School (three PGDM teams and one MBA team).

- The ISBR Business School (PGDM) team "Duelers" took first place (winning a cash prize of INR 60,000).
- The winning team included Hirock Dutta and Miss Tania Chourasia.

Placements: Around 98% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Big 4, Grant Thornton, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Dell, and Adobe. Internships offered by similar companies as placements. In 2024, Intel offered a stipend of Rs. 1,00,000 for summer internships.
Placements: As a student of XIME Bangalore, I have seen my seniors getting placed with exceptional placement support from the institution. Campus has a dedicated placement cell that ensures almost everyone secures a role aligned with their career aspirations. Currently, the placement season is ongoing. As per the latest report, the highest salary package stands at 23.5 LPA offered by Lowe's. The median salary package stands at 11.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are EY, KPMG, Trinamix, Accenture and others.
