I am satisfied with the graduation from XIME as a Business Analytics Major.

Placements: Within 50 days of the commencement of campus placements, more than 60% of Business Analytics students got placed. The top roles offered were consultant, key account manager, financial analyst, senior Analyst and analyst. The highest package for the business analytics batch is 22 lacs per annum and the lowest is 8.5 lacs per annum; the average is 10.8 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Big 4's, Salesforce, British Telecom, Society Gurale, Accenture, Oracle, Mc Donald's, Daimler, Alstom, etc. Almost all students got summer internships from my batch in companies like EY, KPMG, Tata Cummins, Dell, HDFC Bank, ICICI, etc.

Infrastructure: We have a big computer lab that can accommodate more than 80 students at a time. With Wi-Fi, smart boards and a sound system, we also have a design thinking and IOT lab. The quality of facilities in the hostel is pretty good, as every floor has washing machines and a water filter as well. The food quality is good, there is a doctor available on campus throughout the day and week, there is a football field for basketball and volleyball, badminton, and tennis courts, and a number of tournaments happen throughout the year. So overall, in XIME, sports and extracurricular activities are given importance and students are encouraged to participate in them.

Faculty: Yes, the faculty members here are very helpful and qualified; the teaching quality is good, and a relatively good grading system is in place for grading students. Yes, the curriculum is very industry-relevant, as topics like big data, data mining, Python, advanced Python, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI are taught separately as a subject and hands-on experience is given to students in these subjects, as these are the major topics for a Business Analytics student. Semester exams are moderate but it depends on the subject as well; the passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I wanted to make my career in the corporate IT sector, so I chose business analytics as my major and finance as my minor. I have learned tools like Tableau and PowerBI for data visualization and Python for data extraction and analysis. I wish there were more projects to work on in courses, as the application of Python and other programming languages is very critical for B.A. students. There are provisions of a lot of events and extra curricular activities in the college, including an Annual winter fest as well as XIMERA, the annual fest that happens in Feb-March every year, cricket, football, Volleyball, and badminton Table tennis, basketball and other tournaments also happen multiple times. Different kinds of scholarships and awards are given every year on Independence Day.

PGDM in Business Analytics - Batch of 2025

A Good environment to Develop your Leadership and Networking skills.

Placements: The Average package for the current batch is around 8-9 Lacs. The highest package of the current year is 26 Lacs. But due to market conditions the placement for the current batch is a little slow placed compared to the previous batch. Major roles offered by companies are Consulting, Marketing and Management Trainee.

Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is what you'd expect normally out of a B School. It has computer labs, Smart boards, Library with dedicated discussion rooms. Even though the current batch is facing certian issues with the hostel. Good news is that the college has started a building a new hostel block which is expected to have world class facilities.

Faculty: A big advantage is that many of the faculty members here are from various industrial backgrounds which enables them to teach the subjects with connection to the real world scenarios effortlessly. But it also means that they're not well accustomed to the academics and teaching techniques compared to a professor with teaching as a full time career.

Other: The College has numerous Clubs and Committee were you can be a part of and develop a lot skills. It really helped me to develop my Event Management and Leadership skills.
