College review for XIM University.
Placements: The branch office has been trying to bring in more and more companies to the placement in the college. They're trying more. The percentage of placements has also been increasing, which is a very good thing. Also, the average package is around 10 LPA, which is also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best qualities or attributes of this college. We get great infrastructure with the best facilities. From ACs to libraries, washrooms, hostel, garden area, auditorium, etc. The place is also kept very clean over the days. It's cleaned every day.
Faculty: The faculty is great. Very supportive and always pushing us to achieve better. They not only make us literate, they want us to be educated citizens. The curriculum is perfect for the course. We have two exams per semester, a mid-sem and an end-sem. Each semester is 5 months.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Fests and events conducted are wonderful.
Placements: In the recent batch that graduated, a minimum of 50% placement was observed. Good companies arrive for recruitment and placements, though our department is lacking in this area. Students do get internships from good companies such as cognizant, etc. Around 80% students get hired for internships.
Infrastructure: The Xavier campus is highly equipped with good facilities and infrastructure. The B.Teach department consists of three air-conditioned labs: an engineering graphic lab, a basement workshop, and a digital electronics lab, all furnished with modern equipment. The library and classrooms are air-conditioned and well maintained. Hostel buildings and washrooms are clean, and they have better infrastructure than other universities out there.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are highly trained and qualified. Almost all our faculty members are IIT or NIT degree holders. The course and curriculum are up-to-date, and teachers offer good guidance to students. Semester exams are relevant, and the difficulty level is mediocre. It is easy to score if you study consistently.
Other: The department of CSE conducts good number of workshops and events. Fests are a regular in our university. Residential festivals such as xplosion, xuphoria, xest, etc. The academic department is keen on offering scholarships, considering all criteria are MET. Our campus has large space for physical activities such as indoor badminton court, football and basketball fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, etc. Moreover, students have access to gymnasium after classes. Our college offers ample scope for pursuing sports and activities.

I am satisfied with the hostel life, but at the same time angry for ruining my job opportunities.
Placements: * 5% of students get placed. * The lowest package is 1 LPA, the average is 1.5 LPA, and the highest is 7 LPA. * Macenlee Price, Silicon, and many other start-ups are the top recruiters. Internships are compulsory before the 3rd year. But it fully depends on the student, not the college. Senior developer trainee, intern, developer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: * Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are good. Canteen is not that worth it, and everything is overpriced. Hostel is good. Still overpriced, and you also get a fine charged even if you have done nothing.
Faculty: * Some teachers are really good. But at the same time, some are the worst—the real worst. They are not that much experience on their own to make others ready for industry. Pass grade is to get 60 percent, and it's pretty difficult.
Other: This college is only for the rich and good for having college life, but if you want to have a good future, I don't suggest this. About events, there are events literally every day.

Overall good, please join .
Placements: More than 60% of students were placed last year; a handsome amount of 8 lakh was the average package, companies like godrej, LG, TATA, Haldiram, etc. Almost all the student got internships at well-known companies in roles like graphic designer and web developer.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well-equipped with Wi-Fi 24*7, proper hygiene is maintained, the campus is environment-friendly, the mess is hygienic, cafes serve affordable items, ambulances and medical facilities are provided, and a small dispensary is opened 24*7 where a nurse cares for the injured.
Faculty: Professors hold doctorate degrees and have great knowledge in the field. Yes, the course makes the path for the student industry ready, and internships provide real field work. Semester exams are not that difficult to manage if you have a good hold throughout the whole semester.
Other: As it is in demand, and I want to explore more in this field as it is of my interest.

The management is not good.
Placements: There has been no placement offered yet. The computer science department just opened 4–5 years ago. So there is no good placement yet, but they are now focusing on the campus placement offers. They are inviting companies to apply. Students who are applying for off-campus drives are getting good salary packages.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available with average speed. Labs and classrooms are good. The hostel is good. There are two students in a single room. The food is disgusting. The mess and hostel management are very disappointing. You can not go outside the campus without prior permission.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good enough. They are knowledgeable. You can meet them personally for your doubt, and they will help you as many times as you need. This is a curriculum-relevant course. Exams are tough. You have to give your 100% for this course. The passing percentage is 33% to 40%.
Other: In the current market, this course is in demand. You will learn different things from this course. The campus is in a village area outside of Bhubaneswar. The city is a little bit far away from the campus.

Partly dissatisfied with the hostel and the management. Good campus to hang around.
Placements: As the course is new in this university around 20 percent of the students were placed in the placement drive the top recruiter was Infosys and the highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest was 4.5 LPA and around 50 percent of the students got internship. The top roles bragged by a student in this course was a senior software developer in USA .
Infrastructure: The hostel and classroom are pretty good the only problem is you don't have options for AC rooms in the hostel but the classrooms are centralised with air conditioners. The quality of food and the rooms are pretty good and in terms of sports it's excellent and the university has a mini hospital inside and an ambulance for the students of the need any external assistance.
Faculty: The teachers present in the campus are pretty qualified but the problem is some of the teachers attitude towards the student is not that great and you have tons of visiting faculty members from IIT and IIIT so that makes it up for these faculty members. They try their best to make the students industry ready but they sometimes give you a lot of useless assignments. The semester exams are pretty hard and the questions can come from anywhere so there is no way you can know from where the questions will be given. The pass percentage is around 30 percent.
Other: There are a few universities which offer B.Tech Hons in computer Science and it had a brand name of XIMB keeping that in my mind I joined this course. The events fest campus are pretty good.
