Review of Y. B Chavan College of Pharmacy.

Placements: Placements of college are average; only 50% of students get placed at average salary of 2.8 LPA, and the highest is 3–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cipla, Gibbs, and Milan. 4-5 students get internships at Gibbs in various roles offered by companies like assistant professors.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great; there are various facilities, such as 24/7 Wi-Fi and a library; classrooms have projectors to teach in a visual way; and the library has a massive book collection. The hostel has good rooms and mess food; the canteen's seating arrangement needs to change.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly educated in the pharma sector; they have all the knowledge and best teaching qualities. The course curriculum is provided by BAMU. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult to pass; all students manage to get passes, but scoring is difficult.

Candidate should be a citizen of India. Candidate should obtained non zero positive score in Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by National Testing Agency. For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of fulltime work experience in a registered firm or company or industry or educational or research institute or any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Entrance Test
These seats are allotted by the Competent Authority as per inter-se merit. For this purpose, the Competent Authority shall invite applications, prepare a separate merit list for this category by following the same criteria as for Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates. In the event of non-availability of students in this category the same shall not be given to any other category of applicants.
