In my opinion, it’s a good college in this Nagpur area.
Placements: Placements in our college are good but not excellent. More than 70 percent of students are placed during placement campus drives. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest average is 4 LPA. Some top recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, Capgemini, etc. Internships are provided for all the students, not only from the college but also from outside.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is good; all the facilities are available on campus regarding your branch. Labs are available anytime with experienced lab assistants. Wi-Fi connectivity is also good. Libraries are well-stocked and always available. Hostel facilities are excellent, with a neat and clean campus. The canteen provides nice food of good quality, and the rates are also cheap.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative with students. They are highly qualified, like PhDs, and have deep knowledge of their subjects. The academic curriculum is well-designed, covering all important topics and making students industry-ready. Exams are not very difficult if you prepare well, but if you want only passing marks, you have to score more than 44 percent to pass.
Other: I chose this course because the curriculum of this course is good, and I am comfortable with it. Some things the college has to improve are providing better sports facilities and addressing some ragging issues, though not much.

Absolutely perfect for new students who want to take IT in Nagpur.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good, and the ratio is also high for students to get placed in this course. Mostly, students get placed in this course, around 70–80 percent get placed. The highest package offered in our course is 24 LPA, and the lowest package is 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies which came to our college are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and many others. Internships are provided in our college, but in the last year of the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is top-notch, and in our department, all the facilities are provided by the college, there are no compromises anywhere. Wi-Fi connectivity is also good. Classrooms are always clean, the library is well-stocked and always available. The canteen is also available with a variety of food, though the quality of food is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified professionals, and their teaching quality is also good, there are no drawbacks in their teaching skills. In this course, students do not become fully industry-ready, but they become intermediate in getting ready for the industry. Semester exams are not very difficult but are quite lengthy. To pass the exams, you have to work at least one month before exams, and the passing criteria is 45 percent.
Other: Everything at this college is good. No one here feels like a stranger, everyone feels familiar. The crowd and campus life are awesome for freshers. Events and fests are held according to sessions and festivals.

An honest review of YCCE from a final year student.
Placements: About 80 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini. Few students got internships in Cognizant and some in Capgemini. Top roles offered in the course are data science and analysis.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in our department building, proper classroom and library facilities. Hostels are decent, and food served is also of proper quality. If any students require medical facilities, it is served on time. There are separate sections or clubs for sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, sharing their experience in teaching that makes teaching fun for us. The course curriculum is relevant to updated tech trends. The difficulty level is moderate to hard, testing students' patience and creativity. Pass percentage is 7 pointer.
Other: I chose this course because I was eager to learn about computers and new technology to help me build unique projects. Events and fests are top notch in this college. Extra-curricular activities are also handled properly without hesitation.

Review of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering.
Placements: In YCCE, around 70–80% of students get placed every year with high packages in renowned companies. The highest package is around 25 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in YCCE include TCS, Infosys, Persistent, ZOHO, and Capgemini. All students get internships in their final year of college. Companies offer entry-level roles to freshers and newly joined trainees.
Infrastructure: The college provides all necessary facilities, including Wi-Fi, smart boards, projectors, water filters, and clean washrooms. The hostel facility is very good, but very costly. The food quality is also good. There is a medical team for students. Sports tournaments are held every year in the hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and friendly. They are well qualified. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant to make students industry-ready. They train students for placements. The end-of-semester exams are very difficult compared to other exams. Around 40% marks are required to pass the semester.
Other: I like the course because I come from a tech-related family, and I also have an interest in technology, so I chose this course. The college should focus on technical teaching rather than a traditional teaching style. Events are organized every year in the college, including Yash and Techfests. Students get various scholarships from the government and private companies. Various extra-curricular activities are held in the college.

My honest review of YCCE College.
Placements: The placements at YCCE College are overall good for CS/IT branches. Around 70-80% of students get placed every year in campus recruitment in various big companies. The companies that offer placements are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Persistent, etc. The highest package at the college is about 24 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA, which is good compared to other colleges in Nagpur. The same companies also offer internships to students. By the 7th semester, students are eligible for the campus recruitment process. The companies offer entry-level roles to freshers.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have smartboards and projectors for teaching purposes. Labs are overall good. Wi-Fi is available across the college. The library is overall good with lots of books and newspapers. The hostel is average with average food. The college has a sports department that holds sports competitions every year.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and supportive. They solve students’ doubts, give guidance, and give time to students. The teaching quality is overall good but needs improvement. Overall, I rate the course curriculum of the college as moderate. It makes students industry-ready, but not all. The semester exams are much more difficult compared to the internal exams. The passing percentage depends on the student because there is relative grading.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the technical field and programming. The best thing about my course and branch is that it gives lots of technology knowledge. It makes students industry-ready and offers jobs. The college focuses on more practical teaching rather than just teaching students for exams. There are two big events every year. One is YASH, a cultural event, and the other is TECHFEST, which is a technical event.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. Teachers are very nice and qualified in their work.
Placements: Very good placement ratio. The average package for placements is 4.5 LPA. Approximately 70% of students are selected for the internship programme on the campus and outside the campus. Top recruiting companies such as LG, Bosch, Siemens, etc., came for placements.
Infrastructure: There is a very good Wi-Fi facility in the department. Labs are equipped with the latest technology equipment. Classrooms are very clean. Also, very big classrooms. There is also a very nice library environment, nice and silent. Best for studies. Canteen food is also cheap and has great taste.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and overall, teaching is excellent. Through the internship programme and curricular activities, students are industry-ready. The semester exams ensure that students will be industry-ready with practical and written exams.
