Punjab Agricultural University will be conducting PAU Master’s Entrance Test-Engineering (PAU MET-Engineering 2013), on June 20th and 21st 2013, for admission to M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology for the academic session of 2013.

The MET-CSE will be held on June 20th, 2013 and MET-AE on June 21st, 2013.

Courses Offered: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering such as Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering and Soil and Water Engineering

Eligibility:

 

Computer Science and Engineering Exam

Candidates should hold B.Sc. Engineering/B.Tech./B.E in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical.

Farm Machinery and Power Engineering Exam

Candidates should hold bachelors or equivalent degree in Agricultural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or a related field of Engineering.

Exam Pattern:

The paper shall contain 200 multiple choice type questions. Each question will carry one mark and 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The subjects for the Common Entrance Test will be Physics; Chemistry; Biology or Mathematics or Agriculture.

While Physics and Chemistry are compulsory for all candidates, candidates can appear in Biology or Mathematics or Agriculture. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Important Dates:

  • Date of MET-CSE entrance examination: Thursday, June 20, 2013.
  • Date of MET-AE entrance examination: Friday, June 21, 2013.
