Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and IIT Bombay are one of the best colleges in India that provides BTech along with various other programmes to students. They both are among the top-ranked Indian colleges. IIT Bombay is ranked three by NIRF 2023 for Engineering and IIT Kharagpur is ranked fifth by NIRF 2024 for Engineering. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

For admissions to BTech course at Techno India University, the university considers scores from diff. entrance exams. Acceptable scores of JEE Mains/ WBJEE are considered for UG engineering exams. Also, aspiring students can appear for TNJEE (Techno India National Joint Entrance Exam), as it is a university's-in-house entrance test and as a possible pathway to securing an admissions. 

MCKV Institute of Engineering and HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, MCKV Institute of Engineering is a better option since the total tuition fee for MCKV Institute of Engineering is INR 365,200 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology is INR 279,050 - INR 426,700. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.
