DPharm & Diploma Engineering are available at the colleges under the United Group of Institutions Allahabad. The Pharmacy course is approved by PCI, AICTE, & Board of Technical Education (BTE) Uttar Pradesh.

After 10th Diploma	Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent with atleast 35% marks from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply.
D.Pharma	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Physics , Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics subjects from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply.

In general, Siliguri Institute of Technology is categorized as a Tier 2 college. The primary reason is that it focuses a bit on the regional front and the ranking that goes behind it in West Bengal.
