NIT Surat can be expensive for some students as the total tuition fee for BTech course is INR 5 Lakh. The university offers scholarships to those under financial strain. The availability of the scholarships matter on academic performance of the candidate, financial need, and community service done by the student. Nirma University's total tuition fee for the MTech courses ranges from INR 2.8 lakh to INR 5.9 lakh. Moreover, the one-time payment is INR 11,000 and can be part of the overall fee structure, which includes tuition fees, hostel fees, and other expenses. Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda does offer scholarships.  The university offers merit and need-based scholarships to deserving students. DSW scholarship is offered to candidates with at least 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam are eligible for a scholarship. Categories such as SC, ST, SEBC and EWS are bound to avail a scholarship under different scholarship schemes. The university also offers AICTE scholarships. 

MTech is offered in two specialisations, namely CSE in Artificial Intelligence and CSE in Data Science. The duration of the M.Tech programme is two years and there are 70 seats available at IIIT Vadodara for the M.Tech programme.

IIIT Surat BTech cutoff 2026 has been released for the first round for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations based on the JEE Main entrance exam. The cutoff was published for different All India quota categories.
