IIIT Surat releases 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs is released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on the following factors:

The JEE Main score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

IIIT Surat offers BTech programme across two specialisations:

1. Computer Science Engineering
2. Electronics & Communication Engineering

Candidates seeking admission to any of the aforementioned BTech specialisation must have a valid JEE-Main based on which the candidates will be selected for counselling process followed by document verification and fee payment.

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Surat provides full-time BTech and PhD programmes. Admission to these courses is primarily competitive. Aspirants must apply for JEE Main exam and appear for the same. Candidates with a valid JEE score are called for JoSAA counselling following which seat allotment is done. IIIT Surat inducts candidates for the BTech programme based on a valid rank in JEE-Main and the admission process is executed as per the guidelines established by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

IIIT Surat is a public-private institute, hence the fee is not very high. For courses such as the BTech, the fee is kept as INR 6 lakh. This is the total tuition fee and excludes various charges such as the transportation charges, admission fee, and others.
