Admissions to the VBSPU Jaunpur MTech course cannot be obtained without taking an entrance exam. The exam is conducted by the university. Moreover, students also have to fill out an application form. The form is generally released on the official website

The institute has not released the placement report incorporating the overall data for the 2026 drive. However, the institute have disclosed the 2026 placement statistics till Phase I. It is declared by individual participating institutes and available on their respective counselling portals (CCMT/ COAP).
