Pillai University conducts the entrance exam called Pillai University Level Scholastic Exam (PULSE). The exam is conducted to admit candidates to BTech, BDes, BBA, Integrated BBA - MBA, MBA and BCA courses. ­Exam evaluates aptitude, subject knowledge, logical reasoning, and, for design courses, creative abilities. The exam will be held online at the university campus and at the other test centres.

The application form of PULSE exam 2026 is open. Candidates can apply online using the link on this page or from the university website. While filling PULSE application form 2026, candidates must enter valid personal, academic and contact details. PULSE 2026 application fee must be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Before filling the registration form, candidates must check the official eligibility criteria. Candidates can apply for PULSE 2026 retest by paying the additional fees. The retest will be conducted only in the University Campus Test Centre. Pulse 2026 exam date for retest has to be selected by candidates by login to the website.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The basic steps to fill the application form are given below.

• Candidates must register by entering Name, Email ID, Phone Number, Gender, Date of Birth, basic education details, course applying for, communication address.
• Next step is to pay the registration fee of INR 1000.
• Then fill all the details on the application form and submit it.

PULSE 2026 Application Fee

Candidates must pay application fee of INR 1000. The application fee paid is non- refundable and will not be returned at any circumstances.

The eligibility criteria of PULSE 2026 are given below.

For Undergraduate courses: Candidates who have completed their Class 12/ any other equivalent exam can apply.

For Masters courses: Candidates who have completed or are appearing in the final year exam of their bachelor degree program can apply.

PULSE 2026 exam pattern is available online on the official website. Details regarding the type of questions, number of questions, total marks etc, can be checked in the PULSE exam pattern. Understanding the exam pattern is necessary for candidates to get good scores in the entrance exam. According to 2026 exam pattern, PULSE will be held as online test for 2 hours. The candidates will have to attempt objective multiple-choice. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

• PULSE entrance exam will include total of 100 questions.
• All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Sections included in the question paper are General Aptitude, Language Proficiency, Physics and Mathematics.
• Candidates are given 120 minutes to complete the exam.

There is no negative marking in PULSE 2026.

Pillai Univeristy has not published any subject- wise syllabus for BTech entrance test. The subjects included in the exam are Physics, Mathematics, General Aptitude & Language Proficiency topics. PULSE syllabus is based on Class 12 curriculum. Candidates can prepare for the entrance exam by learning from the Class 11 and 12 school textbook.

All registered candidates will be issued admit cards to appear in the exam. Eligible candidates can take the PULSE test 2026 by showing valid Government ID proofs or School/College ID Card at the exam centre. Candidates can check the things allowed in the exam centre below.
