There is currently no limit on total number of attempts for FMGE. You can appear for as many sessions as needed. Very soon, National Exit Test (NExT) will replace FMGE exam. It may introduce new regulations regarding attempt limits once implemented. As of now, no limit for re-attempts.

Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center to be allowed entry. Digital copies on mobile phones are strictly not accepted.

  • Printed Admit Card: A clear printout of FMGE 2025-26 admit card (black and white is acceptable) with a recent passport-sized photograph pasted in the designated space.
  • Valid Photo ID: One original, government-issued photo identity proof (Passport,  Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License).
  • Note: The name on your photo ID must exactly match the name on your admit card.

It will be very difficult to predict the exact level of difficultly of the special July exam paper of the FMGE. But according to the historical performance, the FMGE is likely to be moderate to hard exam. Elements such as the extensive syllabus, concentration on clinical and concept related questions and the unpredictability of the paper are some of the factors that make the paper reputably the most problematic. Although attending these sessions may be viewed as a little bit easier or relatively more difficult than others, proper preparation and adequate understanding of fundamentals are of great essence to success, despite the perceiv

Here are some mistakes which you should avoid as an applicant of FMGE exam 2025:

  • Overthinking tough questions: Don't get stuck in a question. Leave it for a moment and come back later if time allows.
  • Poor time management: Balance your exam time wisely across all sections of the FMGE.
  • Last minute cramming: Focus on revision and MCQ practice only. Do not start new topics.
  • Stressing over unpredictable questions: Prioritize core concepts and high-yield subjects.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts. Students can appear for FMGE exam as many time as they want and until they pass. This allows candidates to improve their preparation without any official attempt cap.

Yes, after having 12 th passed through NIOS and having passed NEET, it is normally possible to pursue MBBS abroad. The National medical commission (NMC) has made it clear that the students of NIOS are eligible to appear in NEET UG. Nonetheless, the major problem is admission to certain foreign medical colleges where they might even have their policy on NIOS. Since you have to be a foreign medical graduate willing to work in India, you have to take up the National Exit Test (NExT) that is mandatory to all such graduates along with the other guidelines of NMC such as course duration and internship requirements as per the foreign universi
