This course module is of 20 hours of training, which is provided through each session of two hours. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi has come forward recently for offering a joint certification with IIBF to their members as also the CAIIB holders to make available well qualified candidates to work in the compliance department in banks.

The course primarily seeks to cover the following: Importance of compliance functlon in banks, compliance and organizational benefit, structure and issues in compliance function, various aspects / coverage of compliance in banks, role and functions of compliance.

• You need to pay nominal fee as per you level for registration.
• Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation from the institute via mail.
• All the study material and supplements will be provided within a few months of registration and you can start your preparation accordingly.
• Basically for executive and professional level the exams are taken on half yearly basis i.e June and December and the entrance exams are taken frequently.

ICSI to be precise is Institution which takes exams and educates professionals but it is not any kind of college where you get to reside and there is no such hostel available specifically in the name of ICSI, definitely there are various branches/ chapters of institution all over India which can guide you throughout your preparations.

But when it comes to hostel and all you have to find out a residing place yourself in case if you are taking personal coaching for clearing the course from somewhere else as there is no personal hostels set up by the institution so far.

Company Secretary course (CS) is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), set up under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 to regulate the profession of company secretaries in India. To get admission into the CS executive programme (first level), candidates need to qualify in the national-level Company Secretary Executive Entrance test (CSEET). The eligibility criteria for the CS foundation course is Class 12 or equivalent pass in any stream with 65% aggregate for economically backward students and 85% for academically bright candidates. The fees for the CS programmes at ICSI Delhi are as follows:

- CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET): The registration fee is Rs. 1000. Various concessions in CSEET Registration Fee apply to different categories of students.

- CS Foundation Programme: The comprehensive course fee for this programme is INR 360000.

- CS Professional Programme: Admitted candidates are required to make a course payment of INR 500000.

After the online registration on ICSI and fee payment, the study material is provided to the students. Candidates get eight months to prepare for the entrance exam. In addition, it is compulsory for students to undergo seven days Student Induction Programme (SIP) within six months of registration and before appearing in the CS executive programme. After eight months of the course duration, the candidate can take the exam in any attempt (June or December). Admission to the course is valid for three years and hence, all the students must clear the CS foundation exam within the given period of time. 

The cutoff marks for admission to ICSI Delhi is determined through the standard cutoff determination process which considers a lot of key factors such as:

Number of Seats, Application Pool, Difficulty of Entrance Exam, Reservation Quotas and Normaliation Process.

Also each course has separate cutoff marks.

It is a must to ensure that a person is eligible to enroll for exam which  is open to :

Members of ICSI and/ or CAIIB holders working in banks.

The examination fee will be Rs.6,742/- inclusive of service tax for two papers and two attempts. For additional two attempts the fee will be Rs.3,371/- per attempt.

Candidates who apply for CS executive are registered under the course for five years with ICSI. Registered candidates are allowed 10 session attempts with one registration. Additionally, for the CS foundation course, six attempts are allowed and for CS professional, 10 attempts are allowed to candidate. It is crucial to clear the respective CS exams within the accepted limit.
