I am highly satisfied to be a student of VBU.

Placements: About 60% of the students got placements in respectable companies. The salary package offered varies from 3 LPA to 8 LPA. Students from our course don't get recruited, so we need to complete our MA for recruitment. Some private companies may hire you if you are good at content writing or proof checking. After pursuing this degree, students can be civil service aspirants, and after completing an MA, you can be a teacher or government employee.

Infrastructure: Shantiniketan is known for its beauty and heritage. Our department has all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, canteen and seminar auditorium, but there are no labs. Our university has 24 hostels in total. Our hostel is old and poorly structured, but the food is decent with Pearson Memorial Hospital nearby. You can get a subscription to the gym and sports department as well.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and they teach very professionally. Shantiniketan has a unique culture where we call our teachers and professors brothers and sisters. The course is relevant enough to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit tough, and the pass percentage is 85%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like English, and I want to be a professor. The hostel food, old buildings and the fee structure should be improved. Authorities should look into the matter.

This is a place comes next to home.

Placements: Placement cell is working good. Internships are also offered. All the undergraduate pass out students get the opportunity of taking admission in a postgraduate course. PhD is offered by all the departments. Free coaching is given for national eligibility test for the students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome with free medical facilities for all the students and staffs at Pearson Memorial Hospital. Sports boards are very active. There is a nice swimming pool. Modern gymnasium, basketball court, cricket ground. Classrooms are well maintained and the library is just wow.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are always there to help their students. Faculties are highly qualified. The teaching method is very unique. Multimedia supports are always available. A highly equipped computer centre is on the university campus.

Other: Posh mela is the most attractive festival in Santiniketan. It starts on 7th Posh and remains for 6 days. Holi is another attraction.
