Central University Entrance Test Postgraduate 2026 ( CUET-PG )
The CUET PG 2026 application process last date has been extended till January 20, 2026, till 11.50 PM, from January 14, 2026. The application fee has to be updated till the same date. The application correction window for the exam has been postponed to January 23 to January 25, 2026, 11.50 PM. Originally, the CUET PG 2026 application correction window was scheduled from January 18 to January 20, 2026.

The CUET PG 2026 application process was started by the National Testing Agency on December 14, 2025. The last date to fill and submit the application form is January 20, 2026. Uploading documents in the CUET PG 2026 application form is an important aspect of the process. Without this, the application process will not be considered complete and even if applicants manage to submit the form, the candidature will be considered invalid by the exam authorities. Before filling out the registration form, candidates must know and keep the documents required to fill out the CUET PG application form 2026 handy.
Announcing the same, the exam authorities stated, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date for submission of the online application form for CUET (PG) 2026. Therefore, NTA informs all candidates that the last date for submission of the online application form for CUET (PG) 2026 has been extended to 20 January 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.), enabling the aspiring candidates to complete their application form."
CUET PG exam is held for those students who wish to get admission to various postgraduation level courses likeMA, MSc, MCom and MTech and other professional courses like MBA, LLM, LLB MEd and BEd, and more. The exam is likely to be held in March 2026, for a window of around 15 days and three shifts, for those who wish to get admission to their preferred courses through CUET PG participating universities.

NTA released the CUET PG 2026 information brochure and exam notification on December 14, 2025. Candidates could select four city choices while filling the CUET PG 2026 application form. The city choices had to be entered in order of preference within their present and permanent address. Based on this, NTA will allot the exam centre. NTA reserves the right to allot any exam city to the candidates that is not among the candidates' selected choices.
Candidates had to follow the method given below to fill the CUET PG 2026 application form.
- Visit the exam portal
- Read the instructions and select the agreement checkbox, followed by clicking on the tab Click Here to Proceed
- Enter personal details
- Choose password and security question and enter captcha
- Log in with the credentials to complete the application process
- Complete the CUET PG 2026 application form by entering the information related to personal details, paper selection, exam cities and educational details
- Upload photograph and signature
- Upload realtime photograph captured through web camera
- Pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
After this, the application confirmation page will be generated, which has to be downloaded and printed.
The document should be saved till the admission process is completed. Applicants are also provided with an application correction facility to make necessary changes to the form.
For the CUET PG 2026 exam, candidates could fill out a maximum of four city preferences. Although initially, NTA announced the selection of two exam cities, as per a later notification, candidates could choose four exam cities in their present or permanent address.

Before paying the CUET PG 2026 registration fee, the most important step in the application form is uploading the CUET PG 2026 documents that are being requested by the exam authority on the web portal. The exam authority will not ask for any graduation or category certificates to be uploaded. However, candidates are required to upload the following documents:

The only platform of paying the CUET PG application fee is via online mode. So far, the examination conducting body has not mentioned about paying the application fee offline.
The online way of paying the application fee of CUET PG examination is through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the
Candidate.
The CUET PG application process for the academic session 2026-2027 was conducted from December 14 to January 23, 2026. While filling out the CUET PG application form, there was a high chance that the applicants might fill in some incorrect details mistakenly.
In order to correct the incorrect details filled by the applicants in the application form, NTA provided the application correction window from January 28 to January 30, 2026.
One of the important stages of filling out CUET PG 2026 application form is selection of university programme list. Candidates are advised to select their desired university and programme offered through it wisely, otherwise it may create hindrances in the CUET PG 2026 counselling process.
Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.
Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.
Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.

CUET PG Application Form 2026: Photograph Upload Dimensions
The photograph must match with your appearance on the day of the examination in the following dimensions:

Note: The Candidate has to upload only his or her own photograph and signature (and not of anybody else's) in a correct/proper manner.
In case, it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the photograph and signature of someone else in his/her Application Form/Admit Card, or he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/Result/Score Card, these acts of the candidate shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and he/she shall be subject to actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to Unfair Means Practice

How to fill CUET PG Registration Form 2026
Filling out the form is the first and mandatory step to appearing for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) exam. Without a valid application, you will not be able to take the test and therefore, take admission to any participating university.
To complete the CUET PG 2026 registration form, candidates have to follow the process below:

- Click on Registration for CUET (PG) 2026 under the Candidate Activity section
- Click on ‘Registration for CUET (PG) 2026’
- Click on ‘New Registration’
- Read the instructions and click on the checkbox

- Enter Name, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth and Gender

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026
The CUET PG eligibility criteria stipulate minimum qualifications, typically a bachelor's degree with a specified percentage of marks or equivalent qualifying exams. This threshold ensures a baseline level of academic preparedness among entrants, thereby safeguarding the quality of postgraduate education.
The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2026, irrespective of their age, can appear in master’s degree programmes in the Central Universities through CUET PG 2026 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.
