M.A. Religious Studies Colleges in Aligarh - Fees, Admissions, Eligibility

AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MA at some other college or university. Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University generally offers admissions through merit or entrance basis for its popular courses. But for the less popular courses, students can apply directly. The university conducted SOET for all the UG and PG courses in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture and Pharmacy courses offered by it. For all the remaining courses, the university conducts online counselling based on past academic merit.

GBU offers admission via different routes. Candidates meeting eligibility can get direct admission based on their merit. Aspirants can also get seat based on entrance exam accepted by the university. GBU considers scores in JEE Main, CUET, etc. GBU-ET is conducted by the university for admission in PhD, LLM, MBA and selected BSc and MSc specialisations. The level of entrance test is moderate.
