Christ University offers seats to candidates based on entrance exam score of the candidates. The university conducts Christ University Entrance Test for admission to courses such as BSc, BTech, BBA, BCom, etc. Besides, the university also considers scores in national-level entrance exams such as XAT, CAT, NATA, etc. for admission to specific courses. AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended its application deadline from Jul 15 to Jul 31. Candidates seeking admission to the MA courses can apply in Jul session till the extended date. The academic cycle of IDE Madras University for MBA courses runs twice in a year i.e., July to December and January to June. Hence, candidates can apply in the programme according to these tenure. However, the academic year 2024 admission was extended up to 30 Sep 2024. Currently, candidates can apply for the admission to upcoming MBA batch. 

Lucknow University accepts JEE Main entrance exam scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. Considering the JEE Main last round cutoff 2024, the closing ranks varied between 129997 and 326317, of which Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive BTech specialisation for the General Home State quota.  For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students must go through the Panjab University CHD-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission at Panjab University.

The requirement of CUET score varies course-wise at Jamia Hamdard. The university considers CUET scores for admission to BSc, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), BA, BJMC, BCom, BBA and BMS programmes. Besides passing CUET, aspirants must also fulfill the eligibility requirements specific to the preferred programme. The final selection is done considering both CUET and qualifying exam scores of the aspirants.
