Engineering Career

In order to get admitted to its undergraduate engineering programs, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) mainly accepts entrance exam results. The particular entry tests that UVCE may accept include:

1. The *KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)* KCET is a single entrance test for admission to a variety of professional degrees in Karnataka, including engineering. It is administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

2. *COMEDK UGET:* The Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), another entrance test approved by UVCE for engineering admissions, is administered by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

The UVCE and other engineering institutions in Karnataka are ranked and admission eligibility is usually determined by these entrance tests. The specific admission examinations that are allowed may change depending on the rules and regulations of the college for that particular academic year.

 

Candidates need to provide Class 10/ SSLC marksheet (original + two photocopies), Class 11/ I PUC marksheet (original + two photocopies), Class 12/ PUC marksheet (original + two photocopies), Transfer certificate with caste/ category mentioned (original + two photocopies), Caste certificate and family income certificate issued by Tahsildar authorized by the Government of Karnataka in case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates (for Karnataka students only), Photographs (six passport and four stamp-size), Anti-Ragging affidavit on a stamp paper worth INR 20, Migration certificate (if required) (original + two photocopies).

Though currently Akash Group of Institutions is only a growing college in Bangalore it is not the best among all. It has a good academic stream, especially in Engineering and Management it has not reached the stature or placement records like RV College of Engineering or BMS College of Engineering which has average placements of around INR 8-12 LPA. Currently, Akash Group has a relatively strong building foundation but it does not have the same stronghold in terms of industry networks and alumni connections.
