In order to get admitted to its undergraduate engineering programs, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) mainly accepts entrance exam results. The particular entry tests that UVCE may accept include:

1. The *KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)* KCET is a single entrance test for admission to a variety of professional degrees in Karnataka, including engineering. It is administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

2. *COMEDK UGET:* The Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), another entrance test approved by UVCE for engineering admissions, is administered by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

The UVCE and other engineering institutions in Karnataka are ranked and admission eligibility is usually determined by these entrance tests. The specific admission examinations that are allowed may change depending on the rules and regulations of the college for that particular academic year.

Presidency University is a private university in Yelahanaka, Bangalore. The University is ranked 101-125 in national ranking & 201-300 in worldwide ranking by THE World University Rankings 2026. The highest package offered during 2025 placements was INR 16.42 LPA. Top companies like Federal Bank, Accenture, Deloitte, DHL, Ecolab, Mphasis, HCL, EY, Nestle, etc. took part in the placement drive. In short it is a good university in terms of placements, rankings, faculty & infrastructure.

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject. 

The faculty members of Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences are degree holders. Most faculty members have doctorate in their specialised subject. Yenepoya University is a private university and is a constituent unit of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) located in Hennur, Bangalore. It is one of the most famous deemed universities in Karnataka and has more than 25 national and global accreditations. The university has also been accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. 

Though currently Akash Group of Institutions is only a growing college in Bangalore it is not the best among all. It has a good academic stream, especially in Engineering and Management it has not reached the stature or placement records like RV College of Engineering or BMS College of Engineering which has average placements of around INR 8-12 LPA. Currently, Akash Group has a relatively strong building foundation but it does not have the same stronghold in terms of industry networks and alumni connections.

XIME Bangalore admissions are open. Candidates can apply on the institute's website. The institute offers admission in PGDM and PhD courses based on entrance exams scores and performance of candidates in selection rounds. Aspirants need to pay INR 2,000 to apply for a course.

My first advice is don't get failed in the internal exams because you might get a chance to write retest but sometimes, you may not. If you fail to get minimum marks in internals, college authority will not allow you to write exam on that particular subject.

Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates must have valid GATE score.
B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
