TS LAWCET, PGLCET Toppers 2026
The Telangana State Examination Cell (TGCHE) conducted TS LAWCET for admission to 3-year LLB & 5-year LLB programs. TS PGLCET exam was conducted for admission to LLM program offered at various colleges accepting TS LAWCET, PGLCET scores. The TS LAWCET result 2026 was announced on June 4, 2026 on the official TGCHE website. Candidates can download their rank card by using the hall ticket number and date of birth. The TGCHE examination cell will now conduct the TS LAWCET counselling process, notification for which will be released separately.
The TS LAWCET exam was conducted successfully on May 18, 2026, at the designated centers across the state and nearby cities. TS LAWCET Counselling 2026
The Telangana State of Higher Education (TGCHE) will conduct the TS LAWCET 2026 Counselling Registration from July 5, 2026 to July 10, 2026. TS LAWCET counselling 2026 will have some specific steps as mentioned below:
- Registration for Counselling
- Exercising web-entry options to choose colleges
- Seat allotment list publication
- Self-reporting (the process of reporting to the allotted college, paying the admission fee, and confirming the admission)
To participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to complete the registration first.
Follow the steps given below to register for the TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2026 counselling:
- Visit the official counselling portal of TS LAWCET
- Click on the "Registration" link.
- Enter your TS LAWCET 2026 Hall Ticket number and your "Date of Birth."
- Fill out the counselling registration form.
- Now, upload the required educational documents and your photo ID proof.
- Pay the counselling registration fee.
- Review your form and then submit.

The web option in TS LAWCET counselling is the process of entering preferred colleges and courses. You can select colleges and courses, in order of your preference.
To be eligible for TS LAWCET counselling, candidates belonging to the General category must have secured 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks). The OBC category students must score atleast 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks), and for the SC/ST category, there is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates. However, for the 3-year LL.B. course, any graduate degree candidate with (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognised University or its equivalent can apply and for the 5-year LL.B. course, two year Intermediate Examination with (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent is acceptable.
During the web-option exercise, candidates eligible to participate in the counselling and whose documents are verified will have to select the college of their preferences online. The list of colleges accepting the students for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-Year LLB is released by the TS LAWCET admission cell on the official website. The candidates can select atleast three colleges for their admission during the TS LAWCET web -option exercise.

TS LAWCET 2026 Tie Breaking Criteria
In a case where two or more candidates achieve the same marks in the TS LAWCET, a tie-breaking criterion is used to decide their rankings. The tie-breaking criteria are mentioned below:
