TG LAWCET 2026

TG LAWCET 2026 is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TGCHE (Telangana Council of Higher Education) for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programs. The TG LAWCET is previously known as the TS LAWCET. The TGCHE also conducts the TG PGLCET exam for admission to LLM courses.

The TG LAWCET 2026 exam will be held on May 18, 2026, along with the TG PGLCET. The Telangana Council of Higher Education released the TG LAWCET Application Form on February 10 on the website- lawcet.tgche.ac.in. The candidates who want admission in the Telangana Law colleges have to fill out the application form before April 1, 2026. TG LAWCET 2026 Notification

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) released the TG LAWCET Notification regarding the exam date, along with all the Telangana Common Entrance Test exam dates. As per the notification, TGLAWCET 2026 is scheduled on May 18, 2026. The PG exam, TG PGLCET, will be conducted on the same date.

TG LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed graduation from any stream from a recognised university.
• Candidates who are appearing in their final year can also apply.
• The candidate must have secured the minimum marks in a bachelor’s degree. For General Category Candidates: 45%, OBC Candidates: 42%, SC / ST Category Candidates: 40%
• There is no upper age limit.

The TG LAWCET 2026 Application Process involves filling out the TG LAWCET application form. The TG LAWCET Registrations 2026 are expected to begin soon on the official website. Candidates can follow the steps below to check how to fill out the TG LAWCET application form 2026.

The TGLAWCET Admit Card will be released a few days before the exam. The TG LAWCET hall ticket will be released only for those candidates who register for the exam. • Visit the TS LAWCET website- lawcet.tgche.ac.in.
• Click on 'Download Hall Ticket' in the latest update section, and a new tab will open up.
• On the hall ticket login window, enter the following: Registration number and Date of birth (in Day/Month/Year format).
• Qualifying exam hall ticket number (Class 12 hall ticket number for the five-year integrated LLB course and Degree hall ticket as registered for the three-year LLB course).
• Click on the “Download Hall Ticket” button, and the admit card will appear on the screen

• Cross-check all the details mentioned in it, and in case of any discrepancy, report it to TGCHE.

TG LAWCET 2026 Test Centre

The candidate must note that the TG LAWCET 2026 exam centre will be placed across Telangana. Candidates will be able to fill in their TSLAWCET test centre preference during registration. The TG LAWCET test centres will be revealed with the admit card. The TG PGLCET admit card has the address of the exam centre that will be allotted to the candidate.

The TG LAWCET 2026 exam day guidelines will be mentioned on the admit card. The TG LAWCET exam day guidelines include the instructions candidates need to follow on the exam day. Candidates can check the important TG LAWCET exam day instructions below.

• Candidates must reach their exam centre as per the reporting time. It is advised to reach half an hour before for the smooth conduct of the examination
• Must carry the TG LAWCET Admit card and a valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. 
• Carry only the permitted items inside the exam hall, such as the admit card, ID proof, and water bottle.
• Deposit your bags and other belongings at the designated place.
• Electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, etc.), Study material, Papers, etc are prohibited at the centre.

TG LAWCET 2026 Answer Key

The TG LAWCET 2026 Answer Key will be released after the exam. The TGCHE will first release the TG LAWCET Provisional Answer Key on MAY 23 and allow candidates to raise objections until May 25. After considering all the valid objection the council will release the TG LAWCET Final Answer Key 2026, which will decide the result.

TG LAWCET 2026 Result

The TGLAWCET Exam is expected to be released on June 5, 2026. After a few days of the exam, candidates will be able to check their TG LAWCET 2026 Results using the process given below. The TGCHE may release the TG LAWCET Result along with the final answer key.

1. Visit the website - lawcet.tgche.ac.in.
2. Click on Rank Card, and the result login page will open up.
3. Enter the hall ticket number and date of birth.
4. The scorecard mentioning the qualifying status will appear on the screen.
5. Candidates can save and download it for use at the time of counselling and the seat allotment procedure.

TG LAWCET 2026 Counselling Process

The TG LAWCET counselling process for the TSLAWLCET exam will be started few days after the declaration of the result on the TGCHE official website. The counselling process comprises online registration, web options exercise, seat allotment list, and college reporting. The students whose names appear in the seat allotment list will have to report to the allocated college based on the verification and seat confirmation dates.

• Register for the counseling on the official website, lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.
• Fill in the information as asked.
• Upload the required documents. 
• Cross-check for the correctness of the information recorded.

TG LAWCET 2026 Cut-Off

TSCHE will release the TS LAWCET 2026 cutoff on the website after the conclusion of the TS LAWCET counselling 2026 rounds. A separate cutoff list will be available for 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. Cut-off marks are the scores that indicate that a student will be granted a seat in the colleges if they score beyond the cut-off. These scores enable students to participate in the TG LAWCET counselling process.

TG LAWCET 2026 Seat Allotment

• Click on 'LLB 3-year & 5-year Course.
• Find 'Candidate Allotment Login Phase 1' or 'College-wise list of provisionally selected candidates'.
• Click on 'Candidate Allotment Login Phase 1'.
• Log in to the candidate portal using the hall ticket number and rank.
• If the seat is allotted to you, pay the fee online and download the acknowledgement letter.
• Report to the college with original certificates and an acknowledgement letter.
• Receive the allotment letter after successful verification.
