at NLU Odisha (NLUO) - National Law University, Cuttack

For admission to BBA LLB  course at NLU Odisha candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT counselling will be called by NLU Odisha through multiple provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the NLU Odisha Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions mentioned below:

1. Accept the allotted seat
2. Apply for Revise
3. Exit from the CLAT admission process

If alloted seat is accepted by the candidate. After, that the candidates need to report to NLU Odisha for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of NLU Odisha. 

After getting selected at the college, candidates need to submit some documents to the college for admission confirmation. Below documents are required at the time of admission at NLU Odisha: 

• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificate
• Migration certificate
• Caste certificate (if required)
• Certificate of person with disability (if applicable)
• PwD affidavit (if applicable)

As per the latest report, the the highest and median package offered during NLU Odisha placements 2024 stood at INR 19.5 LPA and INR 13 LPA, respectively. As pe the CLAT Counselling schedule, CLAT Counselling 2024 is expected to be conducted in five rounds. Also, as per CLAT cutoff 2023, the counselling has been concluded after five rounds. NLU Odisha accepts CLAT scores for admission to the Law courses including BA LLB (Hons) at UG level and LLM at PG level. Candidates seeking admission to NLU Odisha courses must apply through CLAT Counselling. The counselling is conducted round wise for seat allotment to NLUs including National University of Law Odisha. The allotment results can be checked by the registered candidates on the official website of CLAT 2024 as well. 

NLU Odisha has a good history of placements for its BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM courses. During NLU Odisha placements 2024, a total of 178 students took part in the NLU Odisha placements 2024, of which 34 students were placed with leading domestic law firms. Further, 3 students were placed with corporations and banking companies in-house roles, 4 students were placed with litigation chambers and Judicial clerkship and 2 students with think tank and legal couching institute.
