Indraprastha College for Women

Indraprastha College for Women introduced its first Mass Communication course in 1999 and is currently known as one of the top colleges in the country to pursue Journalism and Mass Communication. Lady Shri Ram College for Women

Established in 1956, Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) is a women's college affiliated by the University of Delhi. It is located on a 15-acre campus in South Delhi. The college has approximately 2,000 students. Some of the notable alumni of the college include Shoma Chaudhury, Nidhi Razdan, and Sujatha Singh.

The college offers a BA (Hons) Journalism course. Until 2021, admissions to Lady Shri Ram College for UG courses were based on Class 12 or high school exam scores. Delhi School of Journalism is currently the only DU college that exclusively offers journalism courses. The college was established by the university in 2017 and is located on the lush green and spacious campus at the University Sports Stadium of DU North Campus.
