MAT Registration and Application Form 2019 - Dates, Application Fee, Documents and More

MAT Registration and Application is a six step process including registration, form fill-up, uploading documents, fee payment and form submission. Know here in detail how to apply for MAT exam.

MAT Registration 2019 for September session is underway, and candidates can fill and submit their application forms till August 25, 2019 for Paper-Based Test (PBT) and till September 08, 2019 for Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. MAT 2019 application form is available in online mode only on the official website of All India Management Association (AIMA). Note: AIMA can extend last date of application as well as reopen the application window for MAT exam. Keep a track of latest dates and events for MAT exam.

How to fill MAT Application Form 2019?

Candidates filling the application form for MAT exam need to follow the below steps:

Step 1: Registration

To register for MAT exam, candidates need to visit the official website and click on ‘Fresh Candidate Login In’ to create a new account

Provide details as under –

  • Name of Candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • E-mail and Mobile Number  
  • Password (Confirm as well)
  • Check the boxes for basic information and disclaimer

Click on ‘Submit’ button to confirm MAT registration

A confirmation e-mail and SMS will be sent on the mobile number and e-mail ID as registered.

Step 2: Filling the application form

Candidates need to enter MAT 2019 Login details to complete next step i.e. filling application form.

The details entered for registration will be auto-filled in the application form, candidates need to fill remaining details as under:

  • Personal Details – All information about parents, caste/category (SC/ST/OBC/GEN/PWD), nationality, languages etc, needs to filled in this form.
  • Academic Qualification – Candidates need to fill entire information from Class 10th to Graduation as per MAT eligibility criteria 2019.
  • Work Experience and Other Qualifications – If candidates have work experience (even if 6 months) then it needs to be filled in the form including profile, and employment details.
  • Choice of Management Institutes – Candidates can select up to seven MIs for AIMA to send their scores after announcement of MAT results. Up to five MIs can be selected free of cost and two additional MIs can be selected on payment of additional fees Rs. 118/- per institute.
  • Exam Mode Selection – Candidates can select test mode – Paper-Based Test or Computer-Based Test in this step only.
  • Choice of Test Centres – Candidates have choice of selecting up to four nearest cities as their preferred exam centres for MAT 2019

Step 3: Uploading Documents

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of below documents in this step of MAT application process:

Photograph – Candidates need to upload their photograph as per the specifications below:

.jpg/.jpeg format only

Minimum size 40 KB

Glasses without reflection

Religious headgear not covering the face

Caps or hats

Religious headgear covering face

Signature – The signature should be as per the specifications below:

Black ink pen on white paper

Clear background

Should match with candidate signature at any point of time

.jpg/.jpeg format only

Maximum size 150 KB

Minimum size 10 KB

Any other color than black ink

Not on blank paper

Step 4: Fee Payment

MAT application fee can be paid in online mode only using payment methods as under

  1. Debit Card
  2. Credit Card
  3. Net Banking

Candidates have to pay the application fee for MAT 2019 as under:

  • If applying for one exam in either mode (PBT/CBT) – Rs. 1550/-
  • If applying for both modes – Rs. 2650/-

After fee payment status is updated, the candidates will be able to download the receipt of acknowledgement for future reference.

Step 5: Application Form Submission

The application form has to be submitted in online mode only after the payment procedure is completed. Candidates can download the filled in/submitted application form as a record. Moreover, they can edit the details if required after submitting the form except registration details – Name, Date of Birth, Email and Mobile Number.

Note: AIMA does not open application correction window for MAT exam.

What after MAT 2019 Application Process?

AIMA will issue admit card for candidates who have successfully applied for the exam. Candidates can download MAT 2019 admit card as per the dates mentioned above for their exam mode. The admit card will mention details regarding exam mode, test centre allotted, shift timings, details about candidate and more.
