MICAT 2017 syllabus & pattern
Aspirants of MICAT 2017 should have a clear understanding of the exam syllabus & pattern – this helps the candidates in excelling in the exam. MICAT I exam has been scheduled for December 11,2016, and MICAT II 2017 exam will be conducted on February 12, 2017.

MICAT 2017 will consist of 2 sections- MICAT I 2017 and MICAT II 2017. MICAT is a comprehensive test, and the duration of the exam is 3 hours. The Psychometric test will be a qualifier. Candidates who qualify on the Psychometric test shall be further assessed for MICAT sections on the following:
- Verbal ability
- Quantitative ability
- General awareness
- Divergent-Convergent Reasoning

Candidates who qualify in MICAT 2017 will further be called for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of the following:
- MICAT 2017 scores
- Group Exercise
- Personal Interview

The Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) at Ahmedabad will be conducted on March 9, 10 & 11, 2017. The GE PI at all cities will be conducted on March 17, 18, 19 & 20, 2017. MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) is a gateway for admission to MICA's flagship course Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C). The main focus of the program lies on Strategic Marketing and Communication.

No. For PGCM-AMC admission, MICA considers graduates from all academic disciplines. What the programme looks for is creative thinking, communication ability and genuine motivation to build a career in creative communications, not a specific undergraduate degree.

The fees of the one-year programme at MICA in 2026-27 is INR 13.3 lakh, inclusive of tuition, residential charges, internet and computing, library and database access, and medical facilities and Insurance.

Yes. Candidates need to appear for MICAT to be eligible to secure admissions for PGCM-AMC. MICAT is MICA's own entrance exam, conducted twice a year (typically in December and February). The better score from two MICAT attempts is considered.
