I never thought I would end up doing Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and this was not because I did not want to, I always dreamt of working in a reputed organisation and at a very good profile. But due to parental pressure I couldn't choose Commerce as my stream after my Class 10 and I was forced to select Medicine stream. I was very unhappy with this decision. I tried a lot to convince my parents but I couldn't.

I cleared my Class 12 with above average marks and appeared for medical entrance examination. Since I lacked interest in the subject I couldn't perform well. It was then that I took a stand as I did not want to waste another year over a thing which I really didn't want to do. So, I applied for admission at Kashmir University and fortunately I got selected as per merit.

After completing my graduation with very good score it was not very difficult for me to get admission for my PG education. I applied in all the good universities, gave a lot of interviews and GD's and fortunately, I got selected at every university/college where I applied. Since I had so many options, I chose Central University of Kashmir to pursue my MBA course.

Currently, I am pursuing MBA and I am giving exams for my third semester. I have also taken part in placement drive of my college and have also been shortlisted for the interview round by many companies. I am content with where I am in life. 

My college life: classes, extra-curricular activities and more

If I talk about my college, the faculty was very good. They had good communication skills and their lectures were good. All my teachers were good but I faced some problems because of some teachers in two subjects which I wanted to pick as my specialisation in third and fourth semester. But fortunately the teachers got changed and I could select the subjects as my specialisation.

At college, I also participated in lot of debates, racing competitions, industrial visits and have also attended lectures of some very good entrepreneurs.

In my university, I also organised some very good food festivals, traditional programmes, a marathon for cleanliness and few industrial tours.
