Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes (SVGOI) was established in 2004 under the aegis of Sh. Raghunath Rai Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. The SVGOI offers more than 40 courses to students in nine domains. These courses are provided across the Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Education, Law, and various other streams. These courses are offered through nine different colleges under SVGOI. These colleges are affiliated with the I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), and Punjabi University (Patiala).

The overall experience of the college is really good, with teachers and facilities.

Placements: My course is BCA. Placements in our college are very nice in every course. There is 94% placements rate in our college, which is a really good rate. As I am from BCA, the main role I will get in future is in the technical field, like Software development, app development, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also good for the whole college, with big, great buildings, and Wi-Fi in labs with AC. Also, the college canteen and mess are really good with great food taste, depending on the person's taste. It also has a separate sports ground.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and each teacher will have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience. The way teachers teach is really good. The semester exams are also nice, not so difficult and not so hard. Otherwise, it depends on students.

Other: I chose this course due to the high demand for the tech in the future. There are events and festivals every month in the college.

Overall, college is good in terms of fees.

Placements: 3 batches are running the unique, super60, and non super60 from unique. Your placement is fixed, depending on your skills, but the average package is 5 to 6 LPA. It is under contract with the company. If you do not have skills, you will be fired after 1 year.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with playgrounds and a lot of activities, a canteen is available at affordable price, but for medical we have to go out of the college campus. A hospital is present beside the college, Gian Sagar Medical College. Overall, SVIET Punjab offers good infrastructure and supportive facilities for students. While some areas like mess food, can improve. The campus environment, labs, library, and academic support make it a suitable place for learning and growth. Each department has its own dedicated laboratories, and the CSE/IT labs are equipped with updated systems, necessary software, and proper technical support. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and many are fitted with SMART boards to make teaching more interactive. The library is one of the strong points of the campus, offering a wide collection of textbooks, reference material, journals, and a peaceful space for self-study.

Faculty: In our college, there are very good facilities present, but daily attendance is mandatory in B.Tech course otherwise, you will be fined. In terms of academics, semester exams are moderately difficult. Students who attend classes regularly and study the provided notes can score well without much stress. The institute gives proper internal assessment, class tests, and revision sessions before exams. The pass percentage is fairly high, as most students clear their semesters with consistent effort and basic preparation. Overall, SVIET provides a supportive academic environment that helps students grow both academically and professionally.

Other: There is no fresher party than the DJ night and other events.

Placements: Nearly 90% of the students secured good placements. The average package goes to 6 LPA, and the highest package goes to 50 LPA. Companies like Jio and Paytm are involved, and the college has several startups on campus as well, providing better industrial training.

Infrastructure: The facilities are commendable, and they offer good Wi-Fi access; however, it is not available for first-year students. The college is very strict concerning the years, and they maintain rigorous educational standards. Additionally, they have an excellent mess and better IoT labs.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They have vast knowledge. They have very good skills in teaching and vast experience. They have sharp minds due there efforts the pass percentage is always more than average. They are supporting us till our exams.

Placements: Overall, 80% of students are placed in our course with a lot of effort from our placement cell. The highest package is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Wipro, Caelius Consulting, Antier Solutions, Sensation Solutions, and Infosys. Most roles in our course like web development, MERN stack development, and software development.

Infrastructure: The library and labs are fully unbelievable, and the college provides the best facilities to students to get more focus on their studies due to the good environment. The quality of facilities in our hostel is quite good, the food in the mess is of medium level, and the college also provides a canteen, along with sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they all have good skills from their professional journey. They all have the best teaching quality. This course is very good. Also, our college provides the best things, like special batches such as Super 60 and the Unique batch for brilliant minds. There are two exams per semester to prepare for the university exam. They have to score at least 60% to pass the exam.

Other: This course has a lot of knowledge in which I have a keen interest in exploring my knowledge. The college should focus more on real-time practical skills in place of syllabus theory skills. The college provides many festivals and events like hackathons, global summits, and appreciation ceremonies to encourage students' lives.

Placements: 90%-95% of students each year got placed. The highest package is 48 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Companies that arrive in college are Jio, Infosys, Airtel, Wipro, and start-up-based. Most students placed in Calcius Consulting, in the 5th semester about 90% of students got placed. Roles offered are graphic designer, software trainee, and product-based role.

M.Pharma	In case candidates with valid GPAT Score are not available the seats shall be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit in qualifying examination.
B.Sc.	Candidates passed 10th in non medical with atleast mentioned marks in Physics, Chemistry, Math or medical with Math with atleast above mentioned marks and for reserved category minimum 40% marks are eligible to apply.
B.Com	Candidates passed 10+2 with atleast 45% and for reserved category minimum 40% marks in Commerce are eligible to apply. OR Candidates passed 10+2 with atleast 45% and for reserved category minimum 40% marks in Arts with two subjects out of commerce/Account/Math/Economics/Management are also eligible to apply. OR Candidates passed 10+2 with above mentioned marks with vocational subject off Mgmt., P and Pract of Insurance and Tax Procedure are also eligible to apply. OR Candidates passed 10+2 above mentioned Marks in any stream or re-appear in one paper are also eligible to apply.
BBA	40% marks in case of reserved category candidates.
BCA	40% marks for reserved category candidates.
B.Pharma	40% marks in case of reserved category candidates.
M.Ed	45% marks for reserved category candidates.
MCA	Candidates who have passed any recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation Level or mentioned course are eligible to apply. 45% marks in case of reserved category candidates.
MBA/PGDM	45% marks for reserved category candiates.
After 10th Diploma	Gap certificate if student has any gap after last qualification and Migration.
Pharm.D	Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science stream from recognised board.
B.Com LL.B	Candidates must have passed 10+2 with commerce from recognised board.
B.A. LL.B.	Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream from recognised board.
