How I coped up with hardships & secured admission at ITS: Md Ashraf Ali

ITS Engineering College

I belong to a small village with a poor economic background hence, my resources were always limited. I completed my schooling and Bachelors from a college of the nearby town. My journey was always very difficult. It used to take me two hours to reach my school. I used to change many buses and sail through a river to reach there. I spent several hours in commuting. The situation worsened during the rainy season, almost making it impossible to travel to school. So many times I thought of dropping out from school and helping my father. Also, due to the poor financial condition of my family, paying even nominal fees every month seemed to be an uphill task. In fact mostly, I was able to continue my studies because of scholarships. My love for studies and the burning desire to be economically independent helped me in moving ahead in life. I burned the midnight oil to secure meritorious marks throughout my school and college life.

How I secured admission at ITS

When I finished my graduation, paying money for my higher education was my biggest nightmare. Although I had secured meritorious marks, but the thought of paying huge amount of fees sent shivers to my spine. I was really thinking to work for some time, save money and then go for further studies. At the same time I did not want to break the rhythm of my studies by taking a break. Therefore I decided to take a chance and explore few colleges for Management education. It is then that I came to know about ITS Engineering College from an educational portal. I went to the college for counseling and was really impressed by the infrastructure of the college. 

I was like a dream come true. My biggest hurdle in the road to success was removed. Then without giving the second thought I immediately joined the college for pursuing my MBA program.

I always had the feeling of being at home at ITS, Greater Noida. The college offered me everything I desired for. I had the best pool of supporting faculties, great infrastructure and an overall learning focused atmosphere.  The college aims to build students at par with industry standards. Therefore the methods of teaching included debates and discussions over current life scenarios and case studies. We were provided trainings on innumerable topics and industry interactions to give us a peek of real corporate culture.

Now I am placed with Oppo Mobiles and looking forward to start my journey.

I am really thankful to all my faculties and management for supporting me throughout my journey and bringing success in my life.

I am Ashraf, and I belong to a very small village in Bihar. My father is a farmer and mother takes care of the home and helps my father as well. I did by MBA from ITS Engineering College, and presently, I have been placed at Oppo Mobiles.
